Female friends, if you find that your vaginal discharge contains blood, you must be careful. This condition can be mild or severe. It may be caused by mild vaginal inflammation, or it may be the cause of a serious disease, such as endometrial cancer.

1. Cervical polyps. Cervical polyps are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. The main symptoms are yellow leucorrhea, leucorrhea with a bad odor, and leucorrhea with blood.

2. Acute vaginitis. The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge, which is yellow watery or purulent, has a foul odor, and in severe cases, spotting of vaginal bleeding may occur;

3. Severe cervical erosion. The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge, yellow color, sticky and smelly, accompanied by vulvar itching, bleeding during sexual intercourse, lumbar pain, dysmenorrhea, etc.

4. Senile vaginitis. Clinical manifestations: increased vaginal discharge, light yellow in color, and in severe cases, bloody and purulent vaginal discharge;

5. Cervical cancer. Light bleeding or increased vaginal discharge after sexual intercourse;

6. Endometrial cancer. The clinical manifestations are irregular bleeding, with the amount of bleeding varying from time to time. Premenopausal women may have heavy menstrual flow and prolonged duration, while postmenopausal women may experience postmenopausal bleeding.

7. Ovulation bleeding: Mid-menstrual bleeding (leucorrhea with blood) refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain.

8. Leucorrhea with blood can be divided into two types: physiological leucorrhea with blood and pathological leucorrhea with blood. Physiological leucorrhea with blood generally manifests as ovulation bleeding, which is normal. In addition, there is pathological leucorrhea, which is generally caused by gynecological diseases.

9. Physiological, that is, ovulation bleeding. It usually occurs between two menstrual periods or about 14 days before the next menstrual period. Most manifestations are contact bleeding. In short, as to why there is blood in the leucorrhea, experts point out that in order to confirm whether it is caused by these reasons, it is necessary to conduct examinations through colposcopy and cervical smears, and treat according to the severity of the disease; bleeding caused by endometrial cancer and uterine fibroids is also not uncommon, and the amount of bleeding will be larger. The bleeding time caused by uterine fibroids will be longer, and it may be a few days to more than ten days. Endometrial cancer can be diagnosed through endometrial scraping and blood tests, and uterine fibroids can be diagnosed through B-ultrasound.
