Will having sex on the first day of ovulation increase your chances of getting pregnant?

Will having sex on the first day of ovulation increase your chances of getting pregnant?

Pregnancy is a whole process, which means that after the fusion of sperm and egg, the test tube embryo will be safely and smoothly implanted in the endometrium, and then grow into a fetus. The pregnant woman needs to go through 10 months, and only after the baby is fully developed can she give birth to the baby successfully. So can you get pregnant if you have sex on the first day of ovulation?

Can I get pregnant if I have sex on the first day of ovulation?

1. If you have sex on the first day of ovulation, the chance of pregnancy is very high, but whether you are pregnant can only be tested one week after the menstruation is delayed.

2. For women with relatively stable menstrual periods: It is usually the 14th day before the next menstrual period. The 5 days before this day, including this day and the 4 days after this day, are called the ovulation period. In other words, the ovulation period for ordinary women is ten days.

3. If the menstrual cycle is unstable, the ovulation period can be calculated in this way: the first day of ovulation = the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days, the last day of ovulation = the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days. The calculation method is to use the first day of menarche as the reference point and count the days backwards.

What are the symptoms of ovulation?

1. Strong sexual desire. Scientific research shows that women have strong sexual desire during ovulation, which is a natural subconscious for human reproduction.

2. Increased female secretions. A prominent symptom when ovulation comes is the increase in female secretions, which is egg white-like, highly elastic, and can be drawn into threads. When the leucorrhea is the most stringy, ovulation will generally occur within 24 hours.

3. The human body temperature changes in two phases. During ovulation, the basal body temperature drops due to the rupture of the follicle. After ovulation, progesterone begins to metabolize estrogen and estradiol in large quantities, causing the basal body temperature to rise by about 0.5°C, showing a typical high and low two-phase change.

4. Mild bleeding: Because the level of estrogen decreases after ovulation, it cannot maintain the growth of the uterine wall, which causes partial shedding of the uterine wall and produces a small amount of breakthrough bleeding. Most bleeding is a normal physiological phenomenon and will stop on its own after 2-3 days.

5. Slight pain in the lower abdomen. This is because during ovulation, the surface of the ovary ruptures to allow the egg to be discharged. This rupture process can cause pain in the lower abdomen on one side for more sensitive women. If you pay attention, you will find that the same feeling will appear on the other side of the lower abdomen next month.

The chance of pregnancy is very high if you have sex on the first day of ovulation, so effective detection of ovulation can greatly increase the chance of pregnancy. Whether natural pregnancy is successful depends on many factors. Pregnancy can only be successful when both parties have corresponding reproductive conditions. If you have been trying to conceive for a year without success, you should consider whether there is a reproductive problem.
