What causes female vulvar leukoplakia

What causes female vulvar leukoplakia

Vulvar leukoplakia refers to localized or diffuse white soft spots on the skin of women's genitals, which can spread to the inner side of both legs, perineum and anus, but rarely affect the urethral orifice and vestibule function. Symptoms include vulvar itching, dry skin, hypertrophic skin that turns white, loss of elasticity, and even shrinkage and ulceration, with pain and burning sensation.

Introduction to vulvar leukoplakia

Private milky white disease is also called private milky white lesions, vulvar leukoplakia or private malnutrition. To put it simply, vulvar leukoplakia actually refers to a disease in which the private parts' nerve and blood vessel dysfunction causes tissue metastasis and melanin changes. In clinical medicine, the condition in which the skin and mucous membranes of the private parts become white, widened or contracted is generally referred to as "leukoplakia vulvae".

Clinical pathological examination showed atypical somatic cell hyperplasia, which is a traditional Chinese medicine "vulvar pruritus",

Private Parts

Vulvar pain, "vulvar pain" and "vulvar pain" are mostly caused by the invasion of damp-heat in the liver meridian into the private parts, or the inability of the essence and qi to nourish the private parts due to deficiency of qi and blood, liver hyperactivity, kidney deficiency, yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity. Vulvar itching, sometimes with burning and pain. Vulvar leukoplakia, also known as private part milky white disease, is a chronic female vulvar malnutrition disease. It includes primary vulvar atrophy, atrophic sclerotic moss, vulvar leukoplakia, leukoplakia vaginitis, and private part dryness. Clinicians generally refer to private part diseases in which the skin and sticky skin turn white and become atrophic as vulvar leukoplakia. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it yin moss, yin sore, yin erosion, and yin pain. This disease is a precancerous lesion. The fine keratinized space-occupying lesions in the private part are called milky white keratosis. Long-term and difficult-to-heal milky white keratosis can further develop into vulvar leukoplakia.

The cause of the disease is unclear, and it may be related to systemic factors, such as diabetes and endocrine disorders. Some natural environments of the private parts, such as physical stimulation such as humidity, heat, etc., can cause vulvar leukoplakia. Histopathology shows proliferative space-occupying lesions of mucosal epithelial cells or epithelium. Under normal circumstances, the private mucosa has no granular layer and a thin stratum corneum. If white keratosis or vulvar leukoplakia occurs, granularization will appear. If it occurs in the transitional position of the labia majora mucosa, there will be obvious excessive keratinization, thickening of the granular layer, and hypertrophy of the spinous layer. About 80% of the injuries are normal white keratosis, and the spinous cell layer does not show spinous cell atypia, and generally there are no poorly keratinized cells. Under the epidermis is diffuse inflammatory cell infiltration. In vulvar leukoplakia, early internal changes can be seen, that is, some spinous cells show atypia, inconsistent nuclear size, inconsistent cell size, disordered arrangement of spinous cells, poorly keratinized cells in the superficial part of the spinous cells, called malignant poorly keratinized cells, varying degrees of inflammatory cell infiltration in the dermis, and no pure transformation of fibroblasts in the superficial dermis.

Overview of vulvar leukoplakia

Malnutrition of the private parts can lead to local diseases, which can be divided into hyperplastic malnutrition, sclerophytic malnutrition and complex malnutrition according to the differences in its tissue clinical manifestations.
