How long does it take for a gestational sac to have a fetal heartbeat?

What women are most concerned about after becoming pregnant is the health of the fetus. Since everyone's physical condition is different, some women have better fetal development after pregnancy, so the embryo bud can be seen earlier, but some fertilized eggs implant later, so the embryo bud may appear late. During pregnancy, women should go to the hospital for prenatal checkups more often to ensure the normal development of the fetus.

1For normal intrauterine pregnancy, B-ultrasound examination can clearly show the embryo and fetal heartbeat in the uterus 42 days after menstruation. Some women with irregular menstrual cycles, late ovulation, and late implantation of the fertilized egg will have a relatively delayed appearance of a fetal bud in the uterus and fetal heart tube pulsation, but it will not exceed 49 days after the menstrual period, and no later than 56 days. If after 56 days, there is still no intrauterine fetal bud and fetal heart tube pulsation, it should be diagnosed as embryonic arrest. It is recommended that you get checked in time and follow the doctor's advice.

2 After pregnancy, there will be nausea and vomiting due to individual differences, and some patients without obvious symptoms will find fetal heartbeat and fetal buds around 50 days of pregnancy. It is recommended to actively strengthen nutrition and do color ultrasound examination around 50 days of pregnancy to check for fetal heartbeat and fetal buds.

As the embryo develops, the gestational sac is formed in 30-40 days, the fetal bud is formed in 40-50 days, and the fetal heartbeat is formed in 50-60 days. Therefore, B-ultrasound should generally be done around 60 days. At this time, you can see whether the gestational sac, fetal bud, and fetal heartbeat are normal. The time is counted from the date of the last menstrual period.

3 After pregnancy, if there is no embryo bud in the 6th week of pregnancy, don't be anxious, you can wait and see. Because some fetuses develop relatively late, so at this time, you should continue to consume nutritious food, and wait until the fetus grows a little bigger before going to the hospital for B-ultrasound examination.
