Those with episiotomy can get out of bed and move around 3 days after delivery. After a week, if the body recovers faster, they can also start light fitness exercises.

Women should not lie down for too long during the confinement period. They should get out of bed and move around after a week. This will help promote blood circulation, promote uterine recovery, and maintain a good body shape. For example, you can take a walk or do postpartum gymnastics after giving birth, but do not do strenuous activities or heavy physical work. You can get out of bed and move around, but be careful not to catch cold and avoid direct exposure to cold wind. In addition, you should also pay attention to eating well, sleeping well, drinking plenty of water or soup, and eating high-nutrition, high-calorie, easily digestible food during the confinement period or breastfeeding period to promote rapid recovery of the body and ensure sufficient milk supply; pay attention to personal hygiene, especially the cleanliness of the vulva.
