How to make your face look smaller in silhouette

How to make your face look smaller in silhouette

Women with small faces give people the impression of being cute, sexy and beautiful. Generally speaking, beautiful women cannot have faces that are too big. But face shape is something that is innate and not something that you can decide. Fortunately, there are makeup techniques. Various magical makeup techniques can make up for our shortcomings and make us look the way we want. Even a big face can be made smaller. So, how can we make our face look smaller by using the silhouette? Let’s take a look at the method below.

1. Face shape features (understanding your own face shape)

Generally, the face shape is divided into round face, long face, diamond face, square face, and regular triangle face.

Round face: The face is round and plump, with no obvious bone structure. It gives people a cute and youthful feeling, makes them look younger and lack maturity. It also visually lengthens and narrows the face for round faces.

Long face: The face is narrow and thin, with less muscles. It gives people a serious and mature feeling, and the face is not lively enough and lacks softness. Visually shorten the long face.

Diamond-shaped face: The cheekbones are prominent and the temples are sunken, making it look unapproachable. The cheekbones of a diamond-shaped face are weakened, making the face look fuller.

Square face: The face is wide and square, with distinct angles on the forehead and jaw. Lack of feminine softness and lightness, reduce the hardness of the four corners of the face, and increase softness

Regular triangle face: The forehead is wide and the jaw is pointed. Appears dull and the face feels droopy. Cut off the lower corners to increase the width of the upper part of the face

2. Tips for creating a V-face foundation

Three-dimensional foundation: After skin care before makeup, choose a foundation that is close to the skin color of the face and apply it evenly on the entire face. Don't rush to set the makeup. We choose a foundation that is slightly darker than our skin color and apply it evenly on our jawbone. I use a flat and beveled foundation brush from Leading Beauty. The design of this brush is very good. It is beveled instead of flat, and it just uses our ergonomics to fit the facial contour very well. When using the brush, move the bevel upward from bottom to top, and the lifting and wiping method can achieve a skin-tightening effect.

Powder shadow: After applying base makeup and setting the makeup, use the Leading Beauty Contouring Brush to create the silhouette. .Prepare a piece of cotton pad, dip the brush into the shadow powder, and gently spread it on the cotton pad to make the shadow powder on the brush even enough to avoid being unable to spread it after using too much force at once. First stroke: Start from below the temple to below the cheekbone, from back to front, from deep to shallow. The hollow areas of the cheeks can be applied in circular motions a second time to emphasize the shadow effect. Keep it natural and don't overdo it. The second stroke: Draw from the mandible to the chin, also from back to front, from deep to shallow. The third stroke: connect the first two strokes naturally. If you want to have a small face and a good complexion, you can try applying the desired blush on the zygomatic muscles after contouring, and blend the two naturally.

Square face: The facial features have strong curves and do not look soft enough visually. If we want to adjust this face shape, we need to silhouette not only on the mandible, but also on the more prominent positions on both sides of the forehead. In the picture, you can see that the shadow areas on both sides of the forehead and the shadow areas of our mandible are the positions where we need to silhouette.

Round face: The facial features are very flat and the three-dimensional effect is not obvious enough, so for a round face, our silhouette area is slightly above our mandible and can be extended to the position of our cheekbones. Similarly, we can also use silhouette to modify the sides of the forehead appropriately. This can highlight the three-dimensionality of the facial features and make our face appear to be elongated and thinner visually.

Diamond-shaped face: The temples are more obviously sunken, and the cheekbones are more prominent. For diamond-shaped faces, the position of our silhouette area is to focus on the position of our cheekbones above the mandible. In fact, shrinking the cheekbones will not make the facial features too sharp, but will soften them and make the facial features more three-dimensional.

Regular triangle face:

Draw shadows on the cheeks, and the jaw angles should have a large area of shadows converged. Apply bright colors on both sides of the forehead, T-zone, and the outer corners of the eyes at an angle upwards to change the contour of the face. If you want to slim down the sides, you have to apply it to the lower sides of the face. You can touch it and there are two hard bones where the cheeks are connected to the neck. Applying it at this position from the side will make you look thinner, but be careful not to exceed the face. It is best not to be seen from the front. Apply it on both sides of the forehead. This will make you look thinner. It is recommended to use it together with brightening.

Long Face:

Apply shadow color on the hairline and bottom of the chin to weaken the length of the face. The blush should develop horizontally slightly away from the nose.

The effects of cosmetic surgery-level makeup are extremely amazing! Makeup can actually have a micro-plastic surgery effect, which is why women and even men love makeup. Makeup is also a high art. As long as there are ideas and creativity, any scene can be brought to the model's face by the makeup artist.
