What are multiple cervical cysts?

Some women cannot get pregnant and go to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor says it is due to multiple cervical cysts. Most people have probably never heard of such a professional medical term. There are many reasons for multiple cervical cysts, but the main reason is that when cervical erosion is healing, other tissues grow around the cervix and block the cervical opening. This phenomenon is generally called multiple cervical cysts. So what exactly are multiple cervical cysts?

1. What is the cause of multiple cervical cysts?

Multiple cervical Nabothian cysts, also known as Nabothian cysts, are a symptom of chronic cervicitis and an external manifestation, just like our runny nose, which is a manifestation of a cold. Therefore, under normal circumstances, multiple cervical Nabothian cysts will not exist alone, but will appear with chronic cervicitis. As cervical erosion gradually recovers, the new tissue will block the cervical gland opening or grow outside the glandular duct. This will cause the secretions in the glandular duct to be unable to flow out and become blocked inside the glandular duct. When the secretions in the glandular duct are blocked, they will accumulate and become cysts. This is the reason for the formation of cervical nabothian cysts.

2. Precautions for multiple cervical cysts

Female friends with cervical cysts should pay attention to whether the cysts will worsen. If the cysts change rapidly, such as the volume of the cysts grows too fast, or there is secretion flowing out of the cysts with abnormal odor and color, you should pay attention and go to the local hospital for further examination and diagnosis to prevent the disease from developing unknowingly and eventually becoming difficult to treat.

3. Can multiple cervical cysts heal on their own?

Multiple cervical cysts generally cannot heal on their own. As the cysts grow, some abnormal conditions such as increased vaginal discharge may occur. Cervical cyst is caused by blockage of the glandular ducts in the cervix, which prevents endocrine secretions from flowing out. It is generally a serious problem and does not require treatment. Just observe. You can eat dates, longans, donkey-hide gelatin, etc. There are no taboos. Pay attention to keeping warm and avoid catching cold, and eat less raw, cold, spicy and other irritating foods.

4. Clinical manifestations

During the examination, you can see multiple bluish-white vesicles of varying sizes (not purple) protruding from the surface of the cervix. They contain mucus. The small ones are as big as rice grains, and the large ones are as big as corn kernels. Some can grow very large, protruding from the surface of the cervix and even reaching the vaginal opening. The roots are connected to the cervix by a pedicle, and are often accompanied by cervical hypertrophy. In chronic cervicitis, the cervical glands and surrounding tissues proliferate.
