How to size bra cups

How to size bra cups

A woman's breasts are a very important part of her body. Not only do they bear the responsibility of nurturing the next generation, but they also make her body curves more feminine, so the shape of her breasts is very important. In order to maintain a perfect breast shape, you need to wear a bra, but every woman's bust size is different, so you need a certain size when buying a bra. Today I will explain to you how to divide the size of bras.

How to measure cup size

The bra cup model is determined by the difference between the upper bust size (using a soft tape measure to horizontally measure around the fullest part of the chest, taking the BP point (i.e. bust point) as the measuring point, and the lower bust size (using a soft tape measure to horizontally measure around the bottom of the chest, which is the lower bust size). If the difference between the upper and lower sizes is about 10cm, choose cup A; if it is about 12.5cm, choose cup B; if it is about 15cm, choose cup C; if it is about 17.5cm, choose cup D; if it is about 20cm, choose cup E; if it is more than 20cm, choose cup F. For example: if the chest circumference is 80 cm and the underbust circumference is 70 cm, 80-70=10 cm, you should choose a 70A bra tattoo (70 is the size of the underbust circumference, which is used to determine the cup size).

Chest size description: Bra model is composed of two parts: bra size and cup size. The female chest circumference usually refers to the length around the chest along the female nipple. The size of a bra refers to the underbust of a woman, which is the length around the chest along the base of the breast. Cup size refers to the difference between a woman's bust circumference and her underbust circumference.

For example, if a woman has a chest circumference of 82cm and a lower chest circumference of 62cm, then the cup size is 82cm-62cm=20cm. The cup size is usually indicated by capital letters such as A, B, and C. Each 2.5 cm is a level, AA is the smallest at 7.5 cm, A is 10 cm, B is 12.5 cm, C is 15 cm, D is 17.5 cm, and E is 20 cm. Anything above that is considered a special size.

Like the woman mentioned before, her chest circumference is 82cm, her underbust circumference is 62cm, and her cup size is 20cm, which is E. Therefore, the bra size that suits her is 65E (but it seems that the smallest is 70). As long as the product complies with the international bra labeling standards, this method is used to distinguish the models.

Before buying a bra, it's best to find out your beauty's size. If she doesn't know, just measure it. Whether you use a ruler or your palm, just convert the size into centimeters. Westerners usually use inches to express bust, so you will see some bras are 75B, some are 30B, it's just a different unit. One inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters, so just convert it.

Now that we have figured out how to calculate the size, let's take a look at the classification of bras.

2. Cup type--the difference between upper and lower bust

AA ABCD

About 7.5cm About 10cm About 12.5cm About 15cm About 17.5cm

EFGHI

About 20cm About 22.5cm About 25cm About 27.5cm About 30cm

Bra size = under bust measurement

(For example: bust is 82cm and underbust is 62cm) should wear a bra size => 60E or 65E

1. Cup size

Cup size = bust - underbust

(For example: 10cm = A cup. 13cm = B cup. 15cm = C cup. 18cm = D cup. 20cm = E cup) Bra cup size table

The difference between the bust and underbust of the cup model

AA about 7.5cm

A About 10cm

B about 12.5cm

C about 15cm

D about 17.5cm

E about 20cm

2. Bra size

Bra size = under bust measurement

(For example: bust is 83cm and underbust is 70cm) should wear a 70B bra
