Leucorrhea is yellow-green

The female internal reproductive system consists of two parts: (1) gonads (ovaries); (2) reproductive tracts (vagina, uterus, and fallopian tubes). The so-called leucorrhea is a liquid mixture secreted from the vagina in the reproductive duct. Under normal circumstances, it is white, hence the name leucorrhea. The characteristics of leucorrhea are a barometer of women's reproductive health. If the leucorrhea is yellow, there must be something wrong with the reproductive health of women. So, if the leucorrhea is yellow-green, what is going on?

Leucorrhea is yellow-green in color - Leucorrhea secretion: Generally speaking, leucorrhea is odorless and the amount is not large. It varies depending on the person's stage of the menstrual cycle. During the ovulation period, the secretion of cervical endometrial glandular cells is vigorous, so the amount of leucorrhea increases, which is very similar to thin and transparent egg white. When the cervical mucus is pulled with two fingers, it can be stretched to several centimeters without breaking, and it has very good elasticity. This phenomenon cannot be observed in the second half of the menstrual period. 2-3 days before and after the menstrual period, due to pelvic congestion, vaginal secretions increase, leucorrhea is also more, sometimes slightly bloody, and slightly brown when the corpus luteum is insufficient.

Regarding the problem of yellow-green leucorrhea, however, although some women pay attention to cleanliness, the amount of leucorrhea is very large; the odor is very strong, making people cover their noses; or the color and nature of the leucorrhea change significantly, which indicates that there is an abnormal situation. When married women experience these conditions, the first thing they consider is issues related to sexual activity.
