What to do if a girl's lower body itches

It is generally believed that girls who have not had sexual intercourse or menstruation will not experience itching in their lower body. In short, the chance of minors developing vaginitis is very low. However, it is not impossible. For example, some girls may experience itching in their lower body due to failure to develop good hygiene habits from an early age, or not wiping feces thoroughly. So what should be done in this situation?

1. Overview

1. Vaginitis in young girls. Don’t think that vaginitis only occurs in adult women. Little girls can also suffer from this inflammation, so you should cultivate the habit of paying attention to vulvar hygiene when she is very young.

2. Urethritis, which can also cause vulvar itching, especially when parents wipe the anus of little girls and bring feces into the urethra or vulva, which will cause this infection if it is not cleaned thoroughly.

3. Regarding the quality of underwear, little girls must choose underwear made of pure cotton. At this time, their skin is relatively tender. If some underwear made of unqualified materials is directly in contact with the skin, it may cause vulvar itching.

II. Treatment

1. After a careful examination in the hospital, the child will enter the recovery period. Generally, if the itching is caused by external factors such as allergies, the doctor will prescribe some medicines to be applied to the vulva. At this time, parents should take good care of their children and be patient.

2. If the vulvar itching is caused by allergies, find the allergen. When washing your child's clothes, be sure to wash them thoroughly so that there are no bacteria on their pants or underwear. Sometimes the friction between tight pants can cause vulvar itching, so be careful not to let your children wear tight pants.

3. During the child's recovery period, make sure the child rests more in bed. Avoid eating spicy or irritating foods. It is best to eat light flavors. It is better to drink more porridge. You can also supplement the child's nutrition appropriately, such as letting the child drink some bone soup, etc.

4. Avoid scratching the genitals with your fingernails. Not only will it damage the skin, it will also create a vicious cycle and make the genitals more itchy. Before going to bed, you can apply moisturizing lotion all over your body, or use essential oils and gently massage with your hands. For itchy areas, use more force.

5. Certain diseases or local infections in the body may also cause vaginal itching. It is best to go to the hospital's gynecology department for an examination and receive treatment after a clear diagnosis.
