Black discharge after menstruation

Black discharge after menstruation

It is well known that menstruation is a barometer of women's physical health. Certain symptoms during and before and after menstruation can be used to determine whether women have certain diseases. If there is black discharge, it may be because of irregular menstruation, inflammation, infection, menstrual blood stasis or other problems. In short, no matter what the cause is, it should be taken seriously and it is best to have a physical examination.

In fact, menstruation is the second characteristic of normal female development. Generally speaking, normal women will have menstruation after entering puberty. If you do not pay attention to hygiene during menstruation and have improper diet, tofu can cause various menstrual diseases. One of them is brown discharge after menstruation. So what is the reason for brown discharge after menstruation?

Causes of brown discharge after period

Many women suffer from various menstrual disorders. For example, some women experience brown discharge after their period. Generally speaking, brown discharge after menstruation is usually the result of an irregular menstruation. In addition to this reason, there are other reasons:

Reason 1: Menstrual blood stasis

Black blood after menstruation may be due to the small amount of bleeding at this time, poor menstrual blood discharge, and long-term congestion in the uterus. It is also necessary to consider whether it is caused by cervical erosion.

Reason 2: Inflammatory infection

A small amount of brown discharge after menstruation may be due to incomplete menstruation, drug effects, uterine diseases, gynecological inflammation, and ovarian diseases. Environmental, neurological factors, and endocrine disorders may all cause brown discharge after menstruation.

Reason 3: Luteal insufficiency

If there is brown discharge after menstruation, it is intermittent. This may be considered as luteal insufficiency, which refers to insufficient progesterone secretion by the corpus luteum to support the full development of the secretory endometrium. Other problems include luteal atrophy, endometrial inflammation, polyps, and so on.

The reason for brown discharge after menstruation is not only related to menstrual blood stasis, but also to some inflammatory diseases, and even to the imperfect function of the corpus luteum. Therefore, if you have brown discharge after menstruation for a long time, you should seek medical attention immediately. Otherwise, it may easily lead to more serious gynecological diseases and eventually lead to infertility. Everyone should pay attention to this.
