Is it a boy or a girl if there is a lot of stool in the late pregnancy

Many expectant mothers like to judge whether the baby is a boy or a girl based on various symptoms during pregnancy. For example, some mothers are very curious, does having a lot of stool during pregnancy mean it’s a boy? How can we determine the gender of the baby based on symptoms during pregnancy? Pregnant women in the late pregnancy will experience digestive tract abnormalities due to changes in estrogen. Estrogen directly affects the secretion of gastric mucus, and the gradually enlarged uterus also compresses the stomach and intestines to a certain extent, and gastric motility gradually slows down.

Therefore, it is normal for pregnant mothers to experience different degrees of digestive abnormalities. Some mothers foolishly think that their farts are so smelly because the fetus has too much feces in the belly and cannot be excreted. In fact, this is not possible. The fetus's feces are excreted in the mother's amniotic fluid, and then it is digested by the mother.

At the same time, experts also reported that whether it is increased bowel movements or increased urination frequency, it cannot predict whether the baby is a boy or a girl. After all, there is no connection between them. So, it is not true that pregnant with a boy means more poop.

What should pregnant women do if they have frequent bowel movements?

1. If the stool is currently large and not getting thinner, it means there is nothing abnormal and it is normal. It may be caused by eating too much and having faster gastrointestinal function, and no special treatment is needed.

2. If the frequency of bowel movements increases and you sometimes feel dizzy, shortness of breath, and weakness in your limbs, it means that you have some symptoms of qi and blood deficiency. You can nourish your blood, such as drinking tremella and red dates soup.

3. If you are in the middle and late stages of pregnancy, during this period of time, the baby grows and develops faster. The continuously expanding uterus will compress your pelvis and duodenum, resulting in the symptoms you are experiencing now. This is not a symptomatic condition.

It is not difficult to see that the symptoms and amount of defecation during pregnancy have nothing to do with the gender of the fetus. The most accurate way to tell whether the baby is a boy or a girl is probably through B-ultrasound testing, but in China it is generally not easy to tell the mother and father the baby's gender in advance. Therefore, it is recommended that parents save this surprise for after the newborn is born.
