Will I feel back pain during early pregnancy?

Lumbar pain is also back pain, but this kind of back pain is different from ordinary back pain. In addition to the pain, it will feel very sore and uncomfortable, and there will be symptoms of swelling. This is an early pregnancy reaction during pregnancy, and some people will have it. As long as you pay more attention to rest and massage it appropriately, it can be relieved.

Back pain in pregnant women is a very common phenomenon, and many people believe that it is part of pregnancy. Data show that the incidence rate is 49%~81.5%, and it mainly occurs in the late pregnancy. Pregnant women are more likely to suffer from back pain if they lack exercise on a daily basis.

Low back pain can affect the life and work of pregnant women, such as climbing stairs, activities, etc. Some even have to take sick leave because of it. More than half of pregnant women will wake up at night due to back pain or even suffer from insomnia. There are many reasons for low back pain in pregnant women, which may be related to maintaining a certain posture for too long (such as lordosis), excessive load on the back extensor muscles, and significant hormonal changes.

In addition, when a pregnant woman lies in a supine position, the enlarged uterus compresses the waist and sacrum, which can easily cause lower back pain. To prevent or relieve low back pain, you must start from the above reasons.

First, exercising more before pregnancy, especially exercising the waist and abdominal muscles, such as doing appropriate sit-ups, will definitely help prevent back pain during pregnancy.

Second, pay attention to protecting your hips and avoid gaining too much weight which will increase the burden on your waist and cause damage to your lumbar muscles and ligaments. During pregnancy and lactation, you should actively supplement calcium and drink more milk and soy milk. If the calcium content in your daily diet is insufficient, you can also consider taking calcium tablets, which can also reduce the occurrence of low back pain.

Third, pay attention to protecting your waist. When sitting, keep your waist as straight as possible and put a soft cushion behind you. It is best to sleep on your left side with your legs bent to reduce the burden on your waist. This position is also helpful in correcting the right rotation of the uterus that is prone to occur in late pregnancy, improving the blood supply to the uterus and placenta, and promoting fetal development. Fourth, pay attention to rest, do housework in moderation, avoid lifting heavy objects, bending over frequently, or standing or squatting for long periods of time. Print Recipe
