Standard weight for children: (age 2) + 8 = standard weight (kg). When the body weight exceeds the standard weight by 10%, it is called overweight; when it exceeds the standard weight by 20%, it is called mild obesity; when it exceeds the standard weight by 30%, it is called moderate obesity; when it exceeds 50%, it is called severe obesity.

The difference between secondary obesity and simple obesity is that secondary obesity is obesity caused by disease. Secondary obesity is a type of disease caused by endocrine disorders or metabolic disorders, accounting for about 2% to 5% of the obese population. Although it also has the characteristics of excessive fat deposition in the body, it still has the clinical symptoms of primary diseases as the main manifestation, and obesity is only one of the important symptoms of this type of patients.
