What should I do if my period doesn't end?

Menstruation is a relatively normal physiological phenomenon in the female body, and basically normal women will have a menstruation once a month, but there are many abnormal situations in menstruation, including the situation where the menstruation cannot be completed. This is a case of menstrual disorder, and in serious cases, some methods should be taken to treat it. So what should you do if the menstruation cannot be completed?

If the vaginal wall is not fully expanded during first sexual intercourse or if the action is too hasty or too violent, it may easily cause tearing of the vaginal wall and lead to vaginal bleeding.

If the menstrual period does not come and vaginal bleeding occurs 7-10 days later, it is important to distinguish whether it is menstrual bleeding or vaginal bleeding caused by a disease.

The amount of menstrual blood increases, the duration is longer, and the dysmenorrhea is more obvious. This situation is more common in uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

If you have had normal menstruation in the past but have recently had continuous bleeding, it is mostly caused by disease and needs to be checked out in time. Most of the possible causes are uterine inflammation or cancer.

After the menstruation is over, vaginal bleeding that occurs between two menstrual periods may be physiological or pathological. The former is most commonly characterized by vaginal bleeding during ovulation, while the latter is characterized by cervical erosion, polyps or cervical cancer, especially if it occurs frequently after sexual intercourse. This is because the contact and friction of the sexual organs causes damage and congestion to the affected area, resulting in blood seepage.

Women who have had hydatidiform mole may have improved after treatment and their menstruation has returned to normal. If they experience abnormal, heavy vaginal bleeding again within two years, it may be an early symptom of malignant hydatidiform mole and diagnosis should not be delayed.

There are two possible reasons for vaginal bleeding in menopausal women, especially after the age of 60. For some women who still have sex, due to endocrine changes after menopause, the vagina becomes dry, which makes it easy for friction, injury and bleeding during sex. As women age after menopause, the incidence of cervical cancer and uterine cancer increases significantly, which may also cause unexplained vaginal bleeding.

It is best to consult a doctor before taking winter tonic medicine to avoid misusing inappropriate medicines, which may cause physical discomfort. For example: People with gastrointestinal problems must be careful to choose appropriate medicated foods, otherwise tonic medicines that are too nourishing, greasy and spicy can easily cause damage to the gastrointestinal tract. It is best to ask a Chinese medicine practitioner to prepare a prescription suitable for your individual stomach and stew medicinal foods with different flavors. This can not only achieve the purpose of winter tonic, but also has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stomach.
