Postpartum low back pain is a continuation of low back pain during pregnancy. As the fetus develops during pregnancy, the lumbar lordosis gradually increases, and the force on the posterior waist is greatly increased, causing pregnancy low back pain. If the body shape is not restored in time after delivery, it is easy to continue into postpartum low back pain. Incorrect breastfeeding posture and excessive fatigue after childbirth can also cause postpartum back pain. Medically, these are all considered postural low back pain, that is, low back pain caused by unreasonable posture, so pay attention to correcting your posture. While paying attention, you can apply Miao, Fu, Yang, and Sheng externally to the painful area and regulate it through Chinese medicine. This will achieve faster improvement and at a lower back.

Some mothers cannot bear the pain and will take some painkillers, but be careful! Oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs should be taken with caution, because some drugs can enter the baby's body through breast milk, thus posing a potential threat to the baby's health.

Maintain correct posture at all times, and pay attention to your standing, sitting and lying posture. When holding a child, be careful not to let the child's weight press on your waist and back. At the same time, pay attention to the principle of "if you can stand, don't sit; if you can sit, don't lie down", because sitting and lying are both postures that are difficult to support the injured spine straight and correctly.

Postpartum low back pain refers to a common symptom that occurs in women after giving birth, with pain in the waist and buttocks as the main manifestation, sometimes accompanied by radiating pain in the lower limbs. According to incomplete statistics, the incidence of postpartum low back pain is as high as 40.0%-76.0%. After lumbar anesthesia puncture, there will be some dull pain at the puncture point, but the pain is usually mild. As the tissue repairs, the local discomfort will disappear after a few days. Lower back pain that persists for weeks, months, or even years after childbirth is often unrelated to epidural anesthesia and labor analgesia.
