I feel like vomiting when I am hungry during pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, many pregnant women have different reactions. The most common one is vomiting, which is what we call pregnancy reaction. Many pregnant women can't even eat, and some of their favorite foods they no longer like after pregnancy. Some pregnant women feel like vomiting when they are hungry. This is also quite common. Although you feel like vomiting, you must try to eat as much as possible, or you can eat small meals frequently to ensure that the fetus gets adequate nutrition.

Why do pregnant women feel nauseous when they are hungry?

Nausea and vomiting are normal reactions to early pregnancy, but some people have mild reactions while others have severe reactions. Don't be too nervous, just relax. The diet should be light and delicious. You can eat small meals frequently and eat more vegetables and fruits.

How to reduce early pregnancy reactions

1. Massage your eyes with a cool towel: When vomiting starts, the front and sides of your head will hurt, and you may even feel like you can't open your eyes. Try to avoid reading and massage your eyes. Placing a cool towel on your head and eyes is also effective.

2. Eat less irritating food: Morning is the time when expectant mothers are most likely to feel nauseous. Eat some biscuits, biscuits or candies before getting up.

3. Eat small and frequent meals as the principle: eat about every two to three hours, don’t eat too much each time, choose foods rich in carbohydrates (such as soda crackers) and protein, and try to eat less soupy foods.

4. Since the blood sugar level in the body is lower in the morning, it is easy to feel nauseous and vomit. Therefore, after getting up, you can eat something in bed (such as soda crackers) and then get out of bed.

5. If the pregnant woman is not averse to the taste of ginger, she can drink ginger soup to improve nausea and vomiting.

Most people will experience early pregnancy reactions, and most of them will gradually disappear after three months. Although you may experience anorexia during early pregnancy, you must try to eat some food.
