Intermittent bleeding after induction of labor

Intermittent bleeding after induction of labor

We all know that induced labor is particularly harmful to women's uterus. Some women may even become infertile for life due to induced labor. After induced labor, women also need some time to recuperate their bodies. Some women will bleed after induced labor, and the bleeding is intermittent. What causes this? Let me give you a detailed introduction below!

The recovery time of the uterus is 4-6 weeks. Guidance: Sexual intercourse after delivery and before the recovery of the uterus (about 6-7 weeks) will cause inflammation of the reproductive organs, uterine bleeding or hinder the healing of perineum and vaginal wounds and the recovery of postpartum health. If postpartum bloody vaginal discharge (lochia) lasts for a long time, the abstinence period should be extended accordingly.

There will be a small amount of vaginal bleeding after uterine curettage, which usually lasts for a short time, not more than one week. If your bleeding lasts for a long time, it may indicate poor uterine involution or residual matter in the uterine cavity. It is recommended to recheck the ultrasound and treat the symptoms according to the examination results.

It may be that the uterine cleaning was not done thoroughly. Guidance: It has only been 2 days since your uterine cleaning, and bleeding is normal. If bleeding continues 10 days after the uterine cleaning, it is possible that the uterine cleaning was not thorough.

So don't worry now. You can wait half a month after the uterine cleaning to do a B-ultrasound to see whether the uterine cleaning is clean.

The uterus is contracting after uterine curettage, so it is normal to have lower abdominal pain. Even if you don't bleed much now, you will definitely bleed due to the surgery, so it has something to do with blood loss. So I suggest

1. If you are worried, you can do a B-ultrasound to see whether the uterus is clean. This is the most accurate way and you don’t have to worry.

2. You can take some blood-replenishing oral liquid, eat some jujubes and red beans, etc., which can replenish the blood and also improve the dizziness to a certain extent.
