Dysbacteriosis vaginitis

Dysbacteriosis vaginitis

Generally speaking, the bacteria that can cause vaginitis is Candida albicans. If the vaginal flora is abnormal and infected by Candida, it can easily lead to dysbacteriosis vaginitis. As a disease that can greatly threaten human health, you need to go to the hospital for treatment as soon as you discover abnormal flora vaginitis. The following is a detailed introduction to the clinical manifestations and hazards of dysbacteriosis vaginitis.

1. Clinical manifestations

The most common symptoms of candidal infection are excessive vaginal discharge, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina, exogenous dysuria, and vulvar geographic erythema (fungal or candidal vulvovaginitis). Typical leucorrhea is curd-like or flaky, the vaginal mucosa is highly red and swollen, and white thrush-like plaques can be seen attached, which are easy to peel off. Underneath is an eroded base of damaged mucosa, or shallow ulcers may form. In severe cases, ecchymosis may remain. However, not all leucorrhea has the above typical characteristics. It can range from watery to curd-like leucorrhea. Some are completely thin and clear serous exudates, which often contain white flakes. The itching symptoms of candidal vaginitis during pregnancy are particularly severe, and may even cause restlessness and abnormal pain. There may also be symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination, and pain during sexual intercourse. In addition, about 10% of women and 30% of pregnant women are carriers of mold but have no clinical symptoms.

2. Hazards

1. Cause infertility:

Under normal circumstances, the vagina has a relatively safe environment with a relatively balanced flora and a relatively balanced acidity and alkalinity. This environment, which is suitable for the temporary retention and passage of sperm, is very important. Once this environment is destroyed, infertility is likely to occur. If you suffer from candidal vaginitis, the change in vaginal acidity and alkalinity will inhibit sperm motility, and inflammatory cells can phagocytize sperm and weaken sperm motility. Candida albicans has the effect of agglutinating sperm, and sexual intercourse pain and decreased libido during inflammation can all affect pregnancy. This type of infertility can quickly return to normal after active treatment. However, the infertility caused by candidal vaginitis is temporary and conception is still possible after the disease is cured.

2. Impact on fetal development:

After a pregnant woman becomes ill, in a very small number of cases the Candida albicans in the vagina can ascend through the cervix, penetrate the fetal membrane and infect the fetus, causing premature birth. In addition, when the fetus is delivered vaginally by the mother, it may also be infected with Candida albicans, which often causes oral candidiasis. For example, thrush, as it is commonly known, is caused by oral Candida albicans infection. Some infants may also develop perianal candidal dermatitis. It can be seen from this that in order to avoid infecting the fetus, pregnant women with candidal vaginitis should actively seek treatment.

3. Cause other diseases:

If candidal vaginitis is not treated for a long time, it can easily cause ascending inflammation, leading to cervicitis and cervical erosion. If the pathogen enters the uterine cavity, it can cause fallopian tube and ovarian inflammation, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc., and ultimately affect pregnancy.
