Strictly speaking, the fallopian tube is one of the female reproductive organs. Don't underestimate this tube. In fact, whether a woman can get pregnant has a lot to do with it. If it is blocked, the egg may not be able to be discharged smoothly, so how can it combine with the sperm? A similar fallopian tube disease is fallopian tube twisting, but twisting does not mean complete blockage. So can you get pregnant with a twisted fallopian tube? First of all, female patients should understand that it is not easy for women with this disease to get pregnant, because the twisted tissue makes it difficult for sperm to pass through the fallopian tube smoothly, but instead they are retained and destroyed. Secondly, the location, degree and nature of the fallopian tube twisting are different for each patient. Therefore, it is easy for sperm to enter the fallopian tube and combine with the egg by chance to form a fertilized egg. Since the fertilized egg is relatively large in size, it is good if it can pass through the fallopian tube and enter the uterine cavity smoothly. However, if it fails to pass through the uterine cavity smoothly, then it will easily cause ectopic pregnancy. The fallopian tube is an important reproductive organ for conception. This is where the sperm and egg meet to form a fertilized egg. After that, the fertilized egg still needs to run through the fallopian tube to the uterine cavity, where it "sets up camp". But the fallopian tube is very thin, and the thinnest part is even as thin as a hair. If there is an inflammatory reaction, such as vaginitis spreading to the fallopian tube, the fallopian tube will be twisted and deformed, resulting in partial blockage of the lumen, causing the fertilized egg to implant in the fallopian tube, which is the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy. What are the symptoms of a tortuous fallopian tube? Vaginal discharge: About 50% of patients with fallopian tube cysts have vaginal discharge, which is a yellow watery liquid, generally without odor, with varying amounts and often intermittent. This is a symptom specific to this disease. Vaginal bleeding: Fallopian tube cysts often occur in the middle of the menstrual period or after menopause, with irregular small amounts of bleeding, and curettage is often negative. Abdominal pain: Fallopian tube cysts usually cause dull pain in the lower abdomen on the affected side, which is caused by enlarged fallopian tubes. Sometimes it presents as paroxysmal colic, which is caused by spasmodic contraction of the fallopian tube. The pain will be relieved after a large amount of fluid is discharged from the lower vagina. In a few cases, severe abdominal pain occurs, which is caused by complications. Lower abdominal mass: During gynecological examination of patients with fallopian tube cysts, thickening or mass of one or both fallopian tubes can often be felt. The texture is solid and cystic, sausage-like or irregular in shape, tender to the touch, and movement is often limited. The lump shrank after drainage. The fluid accumulates and then increases in size. |
