How to take care of yourself after childbirth

Miscarriage refers to spontaneous abortion caused by various reasons. Miscarriage can cause great harm to the human body. After a miscarriage, female friends should not take it lightly and need to recuperate their bodies in time so that they can recover their health better and faster. There are many ways to recuperate after a miscarriage, such as drinking milk, drinks that can replenish qi and nourish blood, avoiding overwork, and avoiding cold water.

1. Drink milk

Milk is rich in nutrients. There are many functional milks on the market, including high calcium, AD calcium, probiotics, etc. It is recommended to drink pure milk or high-calcium milk after abortion. Pure milk has the richest nutritional value. High-calcium milk is suitable for women's calcium supplement needs. Although other functional milks are highly nutritious, they have more processing links and will inevitably increase additives or substances, which may cause gastrointestinal irritation.

Drink two bottles (cups) of milk every day, once in the morning and once in the evening: drink milk after eating a little breakfast in the morning. Drinking milk on an empty stomach is not conducive to the digestion and absorption of food, and the nutrients in the milk are wasted. Drinking before going to bed at night can promote sleep. If you find it troublesome, you can just drink a bottle (cup) of milk every day.

2. Drinks

You can usually make tea with it, such as rose + red dates, red dates + wolfberry, and honey water. Do not eat or drink food containing donkey-hide gelatin during the month of recuperation. Donkey-hide gelatin is a tonic Chinese medicine. The body after abortion is in the recuperation stage and is still relatively weak. Instead, taking tonic will cause excessive burden on the body.

3. Drink soup

Make sure you drink soup every day. It is easy to make soup, such as bone soup, duck soup, chicken soup, and mutton soup. You just need to grasp the ratio of the main ingredients, seasonings, and water. The simplest seasoning: 4 to 6 red dates and about 15 wolfberries. Marinate the main ingredients with ginger and wine, and add water to cover the main ingredients and 5 cm more. Add salt after the soup is cooked to prevent the meat from becoming tough.

For bone soup, you can add yam, winter melon, white radish, or carrots and corn.

You can add ginkgo nuts and pears to the duck soup.

You can add mushrooms (fresh or dried) to the chicken soup.

White radish can be added to the mutton soup.

If you don’t have time to make soup, you can cook wolfberry leaf and egg soup, potato and tomato soup, or fish head soup (adding water tofu will have a better effect).

4. A reasonable mix of meat and vegetables

In addition to soups, dishes should also pay attention to nutritional combinations, with a reasonable mix of meat and vegetables, and fresh vegetables such as: cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, cabbage, green peppers, etc. There are no special restrictions, except for water spinach and bamboo shoots.

In terms of meat, seafood, poultry (chicken, duck, pigeon, etc.), red meat (pork, beef, lamb, etc.).

Eat more pork liver and eggs. Pork liver is rich in iron. Pork liver dishes include wolfberry pork liver soup or pork liver and garlic sprouts.

You don't need to have too many dishes, three or less will be enough. Women with poor stomachs may suffer from bloating or even diarrhea if they eat too many dishes. There are many dishes at a dinner party, so you should be careful to control the amount of each dish you eat.

5. Eat more fruits

Eat at least one kind of fruit every day, preferably not more than three kinds. Make sure they are fresh and choose fruits with high nutritional value, such as those rich in vitamin C, oranges, tangerines, kiwis, dragon fruit, cantaloupe, apples, pears, red dates, grapes, and strawberries. It is best to eat one apple a day, after meals.

6. Don’t touch cold water

Don't touch cold water. This is the same as being exposed to the wind when you have a cold. After an abortion, the body is weaker and more afraid of cold. If you continue to touch cold water for a long time at this time, your body will become weaker and worse.

7. Don’t lift heavy objects or do heavy work

When carrying things, do what you can, avoid doing heavy work, and take breaks.

8. Use a warm baby

You should apply a hot pack in the first week after an abortion, which is equivalent to keeping the injured uterus warm. It is also recommended to apply it during the first three periods after an abortion and the first three days of menstruation.
