How to measure follicle maturity

How to measure follicle maturity

The maturity of follicles should be monitored after a certain period of time, and the people who monitor the maturity of follicles are generally those who are preparing for pregnancy or infertility. There are many ways to monitor the maturity of follicles, and there are certain precautions when monitoring follicles, but many people do not know its precautions, so how to monitor the maturity of follicles?

Follicle monitoring is an examination method used for infertile patients. It refers to the use of B-ultrasound to continuously detect the follicle development process and the presence or absence of ovulation. Clinical data show that for many women with infertility and irregular menstruation, follicle monitoring can reveal follicular development and ovulation disorders.

The primordial follicle is composed of a large primary oocyte and a single layer of flat follicle cells surrounding it. There are about 1 million primordial follicles in the ovarian cortex of newborns, but most of them cannot reach the mature stage. They atrophy and degenerate one after another to form atretic follicles. The development of primordial follicles into growing follicles does not require hormonal regulation.

The first thing to note is: choose a fixed time point. This time point is usually the time when you wake up in the morning. Some people get up early, some get up late. This depends on individual circumstances. But there are two points to note here: First, you must ensure more than six hours of sleep at night, no less than this time. The second point is that after waking up, just lie there quietly and place the thermometer where you can easily reach it with your hand. Remember not to move.

The second point to note is: choose a special measurement location. This is different from the usual way we measure body temperature by placing the thermometer in the armpit. We put the thermometer under the tongue. In terms of time, about five minutes will be enough.

The third point to note is: perseverance. The worst thing about all things is to fish for three days and then dry the nets for two days. This is especially true when measuring body temperature, which undergoes small changes every day as ovulation approaches. If you are lazy, then I can't do anything to you.

The fourth point to note is: keep good records. You may remember these tiny changes now, but you will forget them after tomorrow. So it is very important to keep good records. Can't be careless at all. We can't just scribble on a blank sheet of paper. Just like a dedicated thermometer, it is best to use a dedicated thermometer for recording paper.
