What is the best medicine for chest pain?

Chest pain often occurs in daily life. When a woman has chest pain, she will definitely feel very uncomfortable. What is the best medicine for chest pain? In fact, some of the causes of chest pain in women are caused by physiological factors. In this case, no medication is needed. Even if it is pathological breast pain, it should be treated with symptomatic medication after the cause is clarified, so as to obtain the best treatment effect.

The most common causes are:

1. Breast pain during puberty:

The breasts of girls aged 9-13 begin to develop, and dome-shaped lumps the size of peas or beans appear in the breast tissue under the nipples, which are slightly swollen and painful. After menarche, it will disappear on its own as the breasts mature during puberty.

2. Breast pain during menstruation:

It is the most common type of breast pain, accounting for about 65% of all breast pain, with an average age of onset of 35 years. The pain usually occurs or worsens 3-7 days before menstruation and gradually disappears or eases after menstruation. The severity of the pain varies from month to month, and is often felt as a heaviness, distension, dull pain, or occasional brief tingling sensation. There are also tender breast nodules, which are aggravated by pressure, movement or lifting objects.

3. Breast pain during pregnancy:

Some expectant mothers experience breast pain around 40 days after pregnancy due to the placenta and villi secreting large amounts of estrogen and progesterone, which causes breast enlargement. In severe cases, the pain may last throughout the pregnancy and usually does not require treatment.

4. Postpartum breast pain:

Breast fullness, hardness and pain often occur 3-7 days after delivery. This is mainly due to the effects of prolactin, venous filling, interstitial edema and milk filling. Therefore, mothers should breastfeed as early as possible. If there is a lump, you can apply hot compress and massage the lump before breastfeeding, or you can use a breast pump to extract milk to promote the patency of the mammary ducts.

5. Breast pain after artificial abortion:

Some women experience breast tenderness and a lump after a miscarriage. This is because the pregnancy is suddenly interrupted, which causes the hormone levels in the body to drop sharply, causing the newly developed mammary glands to suddenly stop growing, resulting in breast lumps and breast pain.

6. Breast pain after sexual intercourse:

People with low libido or disharmonious sex life cannot achieve sexual satisfaction, so breast congestion and swelling are not easy to subside. Continuous congestion will cause breast pain.

7. Breast pain due to chest wall disease:

Chest wall diseases such as pectoralis muscle or rib inflammation can also manifest as breast pain, which is often a burning or pulling sensation, but may also be tingling. The site of tenderness is almost always on one side.

8. Pathological pain should be treated promptly for related diseases

Chest wall diseases, heart disease, cervical spondylosis, oral diseases, etc. can all cause this pain, accounting for about 26% of breast pain cases. The pain from these conditions is often mistaken for breast pain. Pain should be checked promptly after it occurs, but the most common cause of breast pain is breast hyperplasia, and mastitis is also a common factor.

9. Breast pain caused by cervical spondylosis:

Cervical spondylosis can cause breast pain, which is caused by cervical vertebrae degeneration and involvement of cervical nerve roots. This pain is often chronic and unilateral. The degree of pain is often related to the position of the neck. In addition to breast pain, there is also tenderness in the pectoralis major muscle, as well as pain and discomfort in the neck, occipital bone, shoulders and arms. X-rays often show signs of degenerative lesions, but there are no abnormalities in the breast itself.

10. Breast hyperplasia and breast pain

It does not change with the menstrual cycle, has no fixed time, and lasts longer. These women are mostly around 40-45 years old, slightly older than those with physiological pain. The pain is limited to the breast and is relatively shallow.

11. Mastitis breast pain:

This pain is very obvious and unbearable, and is accompanied by redness, swelling and heat. It mostly occurs in primiparas within 1-2 months after delivery.

Breast pain is often related to mood swings, work stress, etc.

12. Increased pressure leads to pain:

Mental state can also affect hormone secretion and menstruation, leading to conditions such as breast hyperplasia. When you are too busy at work and under too much pressure, you will not only experience menstrual disorders but also breast pain.

13. Psychological suggestion produces pain:

Some women "anticipate" breast pain before or after menstruation, and often the pain actually occurs at that time, which has formed a psychological suggestion and conditioned reflex. Therefore, keeping a good mood is the best way to reduce or eliminate psychological breast pain.
