What diseases can women not eat honey

Honey is the nectar that bees collect from various flowers, and then it is brewed into honey. Honey is a food that we are very familiar with in our lives. Honey is rich in nutrients. Eating some honey regularly has many benefits for human health. Although honey is very good, it is not suitable for everyone. For example, babies cannot eat honey. When women suffer from certain diseases, they are not suitable to eat honey either.

1. Suffering from liver cirrhosis

Honey is a very common food. As we all know, the monosaccharides in honey can be broken down by the liver, so honey is suitable for hepatitis B patients to reduce the burden on the liver. However, patients with cirrhosis cannot eat honey. If they eat honey, it will greatly increase the fibrosis function of the liver, which will eventually aggravate the disease.

2. Infants under 1 year old

Because children have weaker organs, there are many foods they cannot eat. Sometimes mothers will add honey to food to improve the taste for their children. Honey is susceptible to infection, though. If fed to infants and young children, due to their weak gastrointestinal function and weak liver detoxification function, it may cause allergies, poisoning, and sometimes constipation, loss of appetite, etc.

3. People with weak spleen and stomach

People often say that honey water can warm the stomach and the whole body will feel comfortable after drinking it. However, people who suffer from diarrhea or cold stomach should not eat honey. If you consume a large amount of honey, it will suppress the stomach acid in the body, but if you consume a small amount, it will reverse the secretion of stomach acid.

If you usually have excessive stomach acid and suffer from ulcerative inflammation, you can choose to eat it half an hour before meals; for those who lack stomach acid and have poor appetite, it is best to eat it before meals; if your spleen and stomach are too weak, or if your spleen is damp, you cannot eat honey, otherwise it will cause damage to the spleen.

4. Patients with fibroids

If you are a patient suffering from fibroids, you cannot eat honey, because honey contains some hormones that have an adverse effect on the treatment of fibroids.
