What are the symptoms of pelvic misalignment in women?

Once a woman's pelvis is dislocated, she will definitely feel uncomfortable, especially pain when walking, and the body's balance will be affected. There are many reasons for female pelvic dislocation, the most common of which are some external force factors, or pelvic dislocation may occur when falling while walking. Patients will experience the following symptoms.

Symptoms of pelvic misalignment in women:

The pelvis is a skeletal bowl-shaped structure consisting of two large pelvic bones that are connected at the base of the spine (sacrum) at a joint called the sacroiliac joint. The pelvic bones are connected by a joint in the front called the pubic symphysis. Below the sacrum of the spine are four small bones that make up the coccyx.

The pelvis plays a fundamental role in the balance of the human spine. At the same time, the pelvis is an important part of the birth canal and is the only way for the fetus to be delivered through the vagina. Its size and shape directly affect delivery. Four weeks after pregnancy, the body begins to secrete hormones that relax the ligaments. During delivery, the pelvis becomes relaxed due to the effects of these substances, making delivery easier.

However, due to pelvic relaxation, mothers will experience pain in the waist, hips on both sides, coccyx and other visceral diseases after delivery. Pelvic deformation will slow down and weaken the blood circulation and metabolism in the lower body. At this time, it is easy for fat to accumulate in the lower body, the waist will become loose, the buttocks will become larger, and it will also cause a variety of gynecological diseases.

So how do you detect pelvic misalignment?

1. When a person lies prone and relaxes, the length of the legs can be clearly seen.

2. When the human body lies flat on its back and relaxes, the angle of the two soles of the feet can be seen (60 degrees is the standard).

3. When the human body stands, uneven shoulders can be detected.

4. When a person stands, you will find that one side of the trouser leg is higher than the other.

5. Touch both sides of your waist to see if one side is fatter than the other.

6. Lie on your back in bed and check whether the inclination angles of your left and right ankles are inconsistent.

7. Look in the mirror below your waist to see if there is any asymmetry on both sides, such as whether the leg joints are protruding, or whether the buttocks on both sides are the same size.

8. Check the waist and hip curves from the side to see if they are too large (the hips appear particularly raised from the side, and the back of the waist appears to be particularly curved).
