As the saying goes, people have three urgent needs, and sometimes people cannot control the desire to excrete. Compared with the inability to control this kind of desire, there is an even more uncomfortable problem, that is, difficulty in urinating. This situation is common among middle-aged and elderly women. So what is the reason why women have difficulty urinating? Female friends’ difficulty urinating is usually caused by minor urinary tract infections and other reasons. Let’s talk about this in more detail below.

We often hear that some middle-aged and elderly women have abnormal urination. They always feel that they cannot urinate completely. Sometimes they do not drink much water but suddenly urinate a lot. They even feel that they cannot hold it back for half an hour. Some even wet their pants. This situation is generally caused by a disease of the urinary system, which is what we often call inflammation.

Why do some middle-aged and elderly women develop urinary tract diseases? What's going on? In fact, this situation is caused by many reasons. First of all, there are some inflammations in women's urinary system, such as urethritis, nephritis, etc. Under the stimulation of inflammation, frequent urination, urgent urination and difficulty urinating will often occur. Secondly, when there are stones in the urinary tract or the patient has mental neurotic urinary frequency, symptoms of urinary difficulty may also occur. Also, when we drink a lot of water, the amount of urine and the frequency of urination will increase, which is what we usually call frequent urination. In addition, due to some diseases in the body, such as diabetes, drinking more water will lead to more urination, which may also cause difficulty in urination.

What should women do when they have difficulty urinating? In fact, there are many treatments for this disease. First, oral antibiotics can be used, such as amoxicillin, Sanjin tablets, etc. If the condition is serious and oral medication is ineffective, intravenous infusion can also be used. Secondly, you must drink plenty of water, eat light food, and avoid spicy and irritating food, so as to flush the urinary tract and keep the local area clean and hygienic. Also, you must persist in treatment and provide symptomatic treatment.

In short, for some middle-aged and elderly women, difficulty urinating is very normal and may occur to every woman.
