Pregnancy test stick with a line

Pregnancy test stick with a line

Pregnancy test sticks are quite common in our daily life. They are a tool used to detect pregnancy and can be purchased at general pharmacies. Generally speaking, many women use pregnancy test sticks to detect during early pregnancy, and this tool has a relatively high accuracy rate. Of course, more people are concerned about the test results of the pregnancy test stick. Many factors will also affect the results, so you should pay attention. What does a line on the pregnancy test stick mean?

1. Pregnancy test results

1. Not pregnant: Only one control line appears, indicating no pregnancy.

2. Pregnancy: If two lines appear, that is, both the control line and the test line are colored, and the test line is obviously clear, it means that you are pregnant; if the control line is obviously clear and the test line is very light, it means that you may be pregnant. Please collect morning urine with a new morning paper and retest every 2 days.

3. Invalid: No control line appears within 5 minutes, indicating that the test is invalid or failed.

2. Pregnancy test time

Ovulation occurs around the 14th day of the menstrual cycle. Assuming fertilization is successful at this time, it will take at least 6 or 7 days for the fertilized egg to produce HCG. Pregnancy test sticks are determined by testing urine HCG. HCG actually starts to be secreted in large quantities after the fertilized egg implants, and the syncytial trophoblast begins to secrete large amounts of HCG. It takes at least 11 days for the fertilized egg to implant. So, the earliest is 6 days. If you want more accuracy, wait until 11 days, as it will be more accurate then. You can make your own guess.

3. Others

Try to use the first urine in the morning for testing, as hormone levels are most easily detected at this time. If this is not possible, make sure the urine is in the bladder for at least four hours before testing.

2. Do not drink too much water to increase urine, as this will dilute hormone levels.

3. Read the instructions carefully before starting the test and follow each step accurately.

4. Some medications may affect the test results, so be sure to read the label instructions carefully.
