How to survive the weaning period

In daily life, breastfeeding women may experience a period of weaning. There are many reasons for this, which may be related to the mother's physical condition, the mother's mood after giving birth, or the child. Therefore, if women experience weaning, they don't need to be too nervous, but just relax and eat more foods that can increase milk production, and the weaning situation will gradually improve.

1. Mothers in the weaning period usually feel that their milk supply suddenly decreases and is not enough for their children. This may be related to the mother's personal constitution. At the same time, mothers in the weaning period may be depressed and have greater mood swings. If mothers are in the weaning period, they can eat some foods that are easier to produce milk, such as some pig's trotter soup, which can be drunk frequently to help produce milk.

2. The weaning period is related to low prolactin in the body, or excessive oxytocin after delivery affects the production of prolactin, affecting the breast's lactation function, or there may be problems with breast development itself, and the mammary gland is insensitive to prolactin. Most women's breast development appears to be OK, but the function is not complete. Some people have flat breasts but good lactation function. This is related to the internal structure of the breast and its responsiveness to hormones. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease is related to the spleen, kidney and liver. Kidney deficiency or spleen deficiency leads to the inability to convert food normally, thus affecting milk production. Some people are able to secrete milk at the beginning, but suddenly their milk supply decreases due to anxiety or anger. This situation is not uncommon. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is related to the liver.

There are several ways to increase your milk supply:

1: Eat more crucian carp and tofu soup, pork ribs soup, pig's trotter soup, chicken soup, etc., and drink more water.

2: Good mood, less stress, and good sleep.

3: This is very important: let the baby suck more, even if he can't eat anything. The more he sucks, the more milk he will have. The less he sucks, the less milk he will have.

If you stick to the above 3 points for more than a week, I guarantee that your milk supply will be better than it is now. If you continue to stick to them, your milk supply will get better and better.
