Why can't the ovulation test paper detect a strong positive?

For many women, the ovulation period is a critical period during their pregnancy preparation, and the ovulation test paper can detect whether the body is in the ovulation period. Through the test paper, you can choose to have sex during the ovulation period, and the chance of pregnancy will be higher. However, in life, many women will encounter the situation where they cannot test a strong positive result. If the ovulation test paper does not show a strong positive result, it means that they are not in the ovulation period and it is difficult to conceive. There are many reasons why a strong positive result cannot be detected. This may be due to the fact that the ovulation period has not arrived, or that the test results have been diluted by too much urine.

Why can't the ovulation test paper detect a strong positive?

If you can't detect a strong positive during ovulation, there are generally the following possibilities:

1. It is not the time of ovulation.

2. Always drink a lot of water before the test, which dilutes the urine and affects the test results.

3. If you miss the time of strong positive, the egg has been discharged, which means it has turned from strong to weak.

4. In addition to the above two factors of inaccurate measurement time, it may indicate a problem with hormone levels. If the LH peak is not reached, a strong positive result cannot be detected. LH stands for luteinizing hormone. Since the level of luteinizing hormone in the body is not high, a strong positive result cannot be detected. Generally, this situation will lead to luteinization of the follicles or excessive enlargement of the follicles, resulting in infertility.

Start using ovulation test strips to test ovulation on the fifth day after menstruation stops. Do not use morning urine to test. Use the ovulation test strips correctly, soak them in urine for 3-7 seconds, and then lay them flat for 5-7 minutes to check the results.

Do not drink a lot of water 30-45 minutes before the test to avoid diluting the urine and causing inaccurate measurements. Drink water immediately after the test to prepare for the next ovulation test.

After menstruation stops, use one or two ovulation test strips every day. When you are about to test positive, test five or six strips a day. After a strong positive result is detected, test every two or three hours. Do not save test strips. If you only test one strip a day, you will easily miss the strong positive time.

If you still can't detect a strong positive result after following the above steps, then perform B-ultrasound monitoring of the follicles throughout the process, and use test paper to measure the LH peak. Start B-ultrasound monitoring on the sixth or seventh day after the menstruation stops, and monitor every other day. When the follicle grows to 18*18, perform B-ultrasound monitoring every day. When the follicle grows to about 20*20 and the ovulation test paper still does not detect the LH peak, you can give an intramuscular injection of 5000-10000 units of hcg to assist the egg discharge.
