How to drain milk from your breasts

Breast milk is the key to a child's growth, but in daily life many women suffer from excessive milk accumulation in their breasts. This situation not only causes great harm to their physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand relevant knowledge and find scientific and effective treatment methods. Female friends can expel it through correct massage techniques, which can have good results.

1. Early feeding

We recommend that mothers start feeding their babies as soon as possible after giving birth. This not only stimulates the production of sufficient milk, but the baby's sucking is also the best way to empty milk than using a breast pump or manual expression.

2. Feed more

There is no consensus on whether it is necessary to breastfeed your child at a fixed frequency during breastfeeding. But one thing is beyond doubt, frequent breastfeeding is beneficial for emptying milk, and it will not cause milk stasis. You can breastfeed anytime your child needs it.

3. Correct breastfeeding posture

The benefits of correct breastfeeding posture mainly allow the child to eat enough breast milk comfortably and reasonably. In this case, the child eats well and the mother will not experience milk stasis.

4. No fatigue

Breastfeeding mothers have a hard time, working day and night. Excessive fatigue is not only not conducive to milk secretion, but also reduces immunity. It may also lead to milk stasis and mastitis.

5. Apply hot compress before feeding

When you feel your breasts are swollen, you can use a hot towel to warm your breasts and gently massage them. Then feed the child. This not only allows the breasts to be emptied in time to avoid milk accumulation, but also improves blood circulation.

6. Manual massage has good effect

Once milk stasis occurs, correct massage techniques are essential. First try the massage method shown in the picture below. You can apply appropriate lubricants during massage, and auxiliary hot compresses can achieve better results. But remember not to massage violently.

7. Less fat

Excessive consumption of high-fat foods during breastfeeding will increase the fat content in breast milk and cause milk stasis. The correct approach is to eat more high-protein foods, such as milk, eggs, soy products, etc.

8. Drink plenty of water

Most of the components in breast milk are water. Drinking more water is not only helpful for relieving fatigue and promoting milk secretion, but also a good way to reduce the risk of milk stasis.
