3. Ramie root can be used together with gypsum, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, pollen, Gardenia jasminoides, talc, Akebia trifoliata, Lycopodiella cuneata, Alisma orientalis, etc. to quench thirst and act as a diuretic.

4. Ramie root is cold in nature and has the function of clearing away heat and detoxifying. It can be used to treat heat-toxic sores, snake and insect bites, etc. In clinical practice, the fresh product can be mashed for external application, or it can be taken internally with honeysuckle, dandelion and other heat-clearing and detoxifying products.
