What are the characteristics of female scabies? Scabies is a skin disease caused by scabies infection. This disease can occur in all seasons, but it is mostly prevalent in winter and spring. It is highly contagious. Because of the high mobility of urban population in recent years, the incidence of scabies has also increased. Many women have been infected with scabies. So what are the characteristics of female scabies?

When a female patient is infected with scabies, the first symptom is itchy skin, and small rashes, blisters or scabs may also appear in the itchy area. The attack is accompanied by severe itching, which is usually relieved during the day and aggravated at night. The patient often scratches himself, resulting in scars and even bloodstains all over the body. When scabies infects the patient, it usually takes a latent period of half a month to a month before the symptoms of rash appear.

When scabies first occurs, the rash is mostly seen on the soft parts of the skin, such as between the fingers and the wrists, which are most susceptible to parasitism. It then spreads from these parts to other parts of the body. When an attack occurs, it will appear as needle-sized light red papules or blood scabs, which are mostly seen on the sides of the fingers.

Scabies will form pustules after a secondary bacterial infection. When women suffer from scabies, the rash is mostly concentrated on the waist, breast area, armpits, vulva, etc. The distribution of the rash is different from that of men, which should attract the attention of female patients.
