How to treat sweating after cesarean section

Many women are relatively weak after giving birth, and some women are prone to sweating due to their physical fitness. Women who have undergone caesarean section are more likely to sweat. Generally speaking, there is a period of time for sweating after caesarean section, and this situation will gradually improve, of course, but it also requires proper methods. So how to treat the sweating caused by caesarean section?

1. Reasons

If a new mother is physically weak or has yin deficiency, it is very easy to cause postpartum sweating. This type of new mother tends to sweat at night, and after sweating, she is prone to symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, fever, dry mouth, and colds. After pregnancy, the blood volume of the expectant mother increases, causing a large amount of water to accumulate in the body. This excess water needs to be excreted and will be excreted from the body through the kidneys and skin. Increased urine and sweat will make the sweat glands secrete more actively, so new mothers will naturally sweat more.

2. Conditioning

When sweating increases, the water will be taken away. You need to replenish water in time to avoid dehydration and electrolyte imbalance in the body. Do not reduce your soup intake just because you sweat, otherwise it will affect breastfeeding and even the health of the breast. Exercising the muscles of your limbs can help you strengthen your spleen and stomach functions and improve circulation. Although new mothers with qi deficiency sweat more after exercise, they should not give up exercise because of this. As long as they pay attention to wiping off sweat in time after sweating, changing into dry clothes, and avoiding direct exposure to wind, they can prevent the invasion of external evil.

3. Others

Abnormal sweating is an external symptom. Most new mothers sweat due to postpartum exhaustion, but other internal diseases such as hyperthyroidism, tuberculosis, rheumatism and various chronic wasting diseases are not ruled out. If the sweating condition does not improve after proper treatment, you need to see a doctor to avoid wasting time.
