What does a rational girl do?

Girls start their menstrual periods at around 12 years old, and usually have their first menstruation at around 13 years old. A menstrual cycle of 20-36 days is normal for the first time. The menstrual flow will last for 2-7 days, and usually it will end in 2-3 days. Sometimes it is normal to have back pain, abdominal distension, etc., but if the dysmenorrhea is severe, you should seek medical attention immediately.

1. Menstrual cycle: Women usually have their first menstruation at around the age of 13. The cycle from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation is called a menstrual cycle. A menstrual cycle of 20 to 36 days is normal. The cycle of most people around the age of 20 is 28 days, and a difference of about 3-7 days is considered normal. For the vast majority of people, the menstrual cycle is between 28-35 days, but for a few, it can be as short as 20 days or as long as 45 days. Within the above range, as long as the menstruation is regular, it is normal.

2. Menstrual blood volume: Normal menstruation lasts about 2-7 days, and the blood volume is generally 35-58 ml. The amount of menstrual blood is usually the largest on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation. The normal color of menstrual blood should be dark red. It is lighter at first, then gradually darkens, and finally turns light red and clear. In addition to blood, menstrual blood also contains fragments of endometrial lining, cervical mucus and vaginal epithelial cells. It is normal to use 3-5 daily-use sanitary napkins during the day. It is normal to take 1-2 tablets of night-time medication at night.

3. Menstrual symptoms: There is generally no obvious discomfort during menstruation. A small number of women may experience back pain, lower abdominal distension, etc., accompanied by mild diarrhea or constipation. This is due to pelvic congestion during menstruation. Due to the imbalance of the cerebral cortex during menstruation and the influence of fluctuating hormone levels, some women will also experience systemic reactions to varying degrees. Such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, drowsiness, irritability, emotional agitation and breast pain. But they are generally mild and will not affect study and work. If you experience severe abdominal pain before or during menstruation, or even nausea, vomiting, or fainting, you should consider dysmenorrhea.
