Gaining weight before your period

Gaining weight before your period

Weight has always been a problem that women are very concerned about. Some people try their best to lose weight in order to lose weight. Menstruation is also a problem that every woman has to face. Some people are very reluctant to have menstruation because it will make them feel very uncomfortable. Some people say that menstruation will directly affect the effect and speed of weight loss. Some people even say that they will gain weight before menstruation comes. Is this true?

Menstruation refers to the physiological cycle of women of childbearing age and female primates. About every month, the endometrium undergoes cyclical changes including autonomous thickening, blood vessel proliferation, glandular growth and secretion, and endometrial collapse and shedding accompanied by bleeding. With the arrival of menstruation, some changes will occur in women's bodies. So, will the weight increase before the menstrual period comes?

Women's menstrual cycle also affects their weight. Women often find that some days they lose weight faster and other days they gain weight. In fact, we don’t need to be so sad and happy at the same time. It is entirely the estrogen in our bodies that is causing trouble. Generally speaking, about a week before menstruation, due to the influence of hormones, the body will retain more water, and weight will increase at this time; while at other times the body's water level will return to normal levels, especially a week after menstruation, when the metabolism will generally be slightly faster and weight changes will be more.

Women may become irritable during menstruation, and their weight may increase due to the expansion of the uterus and breasts absorbing a lot of water, but everything will return to normal after menstruation. If you feel that you eat too much, you can lose weight within a week after menstruation. The best way to lose weight is within a week after menstruation.

Every time when your menstruation comes, you should pay attention to rest and relax your body and mind. Because of the secretion of hormones during menstruation, girls are always irritable and impulsive, so you need to calm down and have a good rest. Foods that you should avoid during menstruation include cold drinks, watermelon, cucumber, mung bean, loofah, white radish, etc., because these foods are cold and can cause dysmenorrhea. Even if these foods can help you lose weight, try to eat less!
