Is luteinized follicles treatable?

Women's reproductive health is extremely important for themselves and their families, because the normality of reproductive function plays a fundamental role in treating people's happiness. Women are especially prone to reproductive problems, which cause many unnecessary troubles in life. For example, follicle luteinization is a common symptom. Let's take a look at whether follicle luteinization is easy to treat.

Unruptured luteinized follicles are often asymptomatic and have no abnormal physical signs. Because of the menstrual cycle, the menstrual period is similar to the natural cycle (with ovulation), and the basal body temperature curve is also biphasic, similar to the temperature curve of ovulatory menstruation. It can only be discovered during ultrasound monitoring of follicular development and ovulation or laparoscopy.

treat:

Because LUFS has no special clinical manifestations and has no abnormal effects on married women with children, especially those with occasional LUF cycles, the current treatment of LUFS is mainly for infertile women. Because the formation mechanism of LUFS is not very clear, our center mainly focuses on its abnormal LH peak, excessive PRL, PG deficiency, combined pelvic inflammatory disease and endometriosis. Use appropriate drugs to induce ovulation, surgical treatment, and psychological treatment. Among them, ovulation induction therapy occupies a dominant position. The correct and appropriate use of ovulation induction drugs is not only the key to the treatment of LUFS, but also the basis for pregnancy in LUFS patients.

Ovulation induction treatment:

Before applying ovulation induction treatment, local mechanical factors that cause LUFS, such as endometriosis, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and pelvic adhesions, must be actively treated.

Surgical treatment:

1. Follicle puncture treatment.

2. Laparoscopic or laparotomy treatment.

3. Psychological treatment

Excessive mental stress and anxiety can lead to the occurrence of LUFS. Psychological counseling and treatment can help restore normal ovulation function.

Luteinized follicles are mostly found in the systematic monitoring of follicular development and ovulation in infertile patients, and LUF does not occur in every menstrual cycle. Therefore, its prevention and treatment is only of clinical significance for infertility. Since LUF does not occur in every cycle, the authors believe that it is more appropriate to treat after LUF occurs in two consecutive menstrual cycles.
