Why does cervical erosion occur?

Why does cervical erosion occur?

Nowadays, women attach great importance to their physical and mental health, especially in the area of gynecological diseases. The prevalence of cervical erosion is very high. According to statistical analysis, the prevalence has reached 90%, and the age of onset has dropped sharply, with a serious trend of younger age groups. Young women should pay great attention to this symptom. So how do you get diseases like cervical erosion?

1. Cohabitation before marriage is very common nowadays. Some women start having sex too early or have too many sexual partners. Frequent changes of sexual partners can lead to cervical erosion. There is also excessive stress in married life, which is also a very important reason. Effective sexual intercourse should not exceed four times a week.

2. Unclean sex life. Sexual life before marriage is in a relatively secretive state. Some young people do not have a stable source of income and cannot create a stable, clean and tidy environment for married life, which greatly increases the probability of illness.

3. Several abortion surgeries. Some people have undergone multiple abortions and major invasive gynecological surgeries such as cervical dilation, which have seriously damaged the cervix and eventually led to cervical erosion.

4. Too much cleaning. Although there are a lot of women's cleaning products on the market today, if they are not selected well, it will also be the main cause of disease. Ladies should pay attention to using cleaning products that are suitable for them.

What are the symptoms of cervical erosion? The symptom of cervical erosion is relatively typical. Under the influence of estrogen metabolism, from the human eye, the external opening of the cervix is a granular red area, as if "erosion" has occurred.

Earlier textbooks listed "cervical erosion" as one of the symptoms of chronic cervicitis, believing that the size of the range refers to the mild and severe degree of inflammation. Area less than 1/3 is mild, 1/3-2/3 is mild to moderate, and more than 2/3 is moderate to severe. However, this is actually the different degrees of outward curling of columnar epithelial cells under the influence of estrogen, which is a normal physiological phenomenon.

It should be noted that cervical erosion should be distinguished from cervicitis. If there is a lot of vaginal discharge, it turns yellow, and has a strong odor, this is a sign of cervicitis, a disease that occurs after the cervix is infected. The cyst and hypertrophy of the cervix are also the result of cervical inflammation. Once symptoms of cervicitis appear, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible and avoid delaying the treatment.
