Signs of the end of a girl's voice change

Voice is something that each of us has. It has its own characteristics and also reflects each person's personality traits. Generally speaking, male voices are deep and female voices are sweet. Voice is power and it is a powerful business card to showcase yourself. When you use words to describe your thoughts and ideas, it will be of great benefit to everyone if the sound carrier is pleasant and attractive. However, everyone will go through a voice change period. If girls do not understand it well and accidentally hurt it, they will not be able to have a healthy, crisp, bright, sweet and strong voice. So what are the signs that a girl’s voice change period has ended?

The voice change period refers specifically to adolescents aged 14 to 16. Boys generally have a voice change period between the ages of 14 and 16 and can be completed by the age of 18; girls generally have a voice change period between the ages of 14 and 16 and can be completed by the age of 18.

13-15 years old, around 16 years old at the latest. Because of the growth of the larynx and vocal cords, the voice becomes hoarse, the vocal range becomes narrow, pronunciation fatigue, local congestion and edema, and increased secretions occur, resulting in the voice of speaking and singing being different from that in childhood and lasting for a period of six months to a year. The voice change period can be divided into the early voice change period, the voice change period and the late voice change period.

Vocal cords during voice change: Changes in the vocal cords are an important manifestation of voice change. During puberty, girls' throats become narrower, their vocal cords are shorter, thinner, and vibrate at a higher frequency, so their pitch is higher and finer; boys' throats become larger, their vocal cords are wider and thicker, so their pitch is lower and rougher.

Vocal cord disease: Because adolescent children like to speak and sing loudly, they like to show off their loud voices anytime and anywhere. Little do we know that if we are not careful, it will harm the growing vocal cords. The vocal cords are extremely delicate at this time. If the owner does not pay attention, they will become congested, edematous, or develop vocal nodules or vocal polyps. In mild cases, it will lead to tired and weak pronunciation and change in tone; in severe cases, hoarseness and even difficulty breathing and inability to speak will occur.

Vocal cord maintenance during voice change period:

A Usage: Use your voice correctly. Do not overuse it by shouting loudly or making loud noises without restraint. Pay special attention not to sing karaoke excessively. Excessive use of the voice during adolescence may lead to lifelong hoarseness.

B. Keep warm: avoid catching cold. Pay special attention to keeping warm in winter, try not to wear low-necked clothes, and keep your neck warm to prevent your mouth and throat from getting cold. Catching a cold or chill will aggravate the swelling and congestion of the vocal cords. In addition to paying attention to adding or removing clothes and bedding as the weather changes, participating in some sports activities in moderation and doing physical exercise every day to strengthen your physical fitness is also beneficial to the healthy growth and development of your vocal cords.

C Exercise: Combine work and rest, lead a regular life, and ensure adequate sleep. Don't stay up late and ensure more than 7 hours of sleep every day.
