Is it normal for women to have breast discharge?

Breasts are very important lactation organs for women. They are divided into internal and external parts in terms of structure. They are mainly composed of mammary glands and muscle tissues. If you don't pay attention to maintenance, you are prone to some breast diseases. The severity of breast diseases directly affects women's physical health. However, some women will find that they often have secretions on their breasts. So is it normal for women to have breast secretions?

First, is it normal for women to have breast secretions? If women do not drain their milk cleanly after weaning, the milk will deteriorate after a period of time and form pus, even bloody pus, or black water. If it is not discharged in time, the entire breast tissue will become diseased or even cancerous. Discharged fluid, such as pus, brown water, blood pus, black water, etc., must be paid attention to if such discharge occurs, because such symptoms are early signs of breast cancer. Another type is paste, such as yellow, coffee color, black, these symptoms have a higher chance of canceration;

Second, nipple secretions are mainly caused by metabolism. Waste accumulates in the nipple or nipple pore, making the nipple pore blocked. It is generally a paste, such as white, yellow, or black. If toxins are not discharged in time, they accumulate too much and form bumps on the areola or even inverted nipples. Inverted nipples are a sign of breast cancer.

Third, in terms of symptoms, there are two types, one is liquid and the other is paste. In terms of nature, there are true and false discharge. True discharge is liquid flowing out of the milk duct. Pseudodischarge is caused by the shedding of nipple epidermal cells. A small amount of it looks like bean dregs and is common in people with inverted nipples. Breast examination should first observe the development of the breast: whether the breasts on both sides are symmetrical and similar in size, whether the nipples on both sides are at the same level, whether the nipples are retracted and sunken; whether the nipples and areolas are eroded, what is the color of the breast skin, whether there is edema and orange peel-like changes, whether there are inflammatory manifestations such as redness and swelling, whether the superficial veins in the breast area are dilated, etc.

Is it normal for women to have breast secretions? It may be due to cold, fatigue, improper diet and living habits, and excessive mental stress, which leads to high lactase. Occasional occurrences are not a big problem, but if they continue to occur, it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up, pay attention to rest, diet and daily life, avoid cold and fatigue, and eat less spicy and stimulating foods.
