First aid measures for pregnant women with stomach pain in the middle of the night

Pregnancy is a very difficult thing. As the pregnancy progresses, the fetus grows and the pregnant woman's belly gets bigger. At the same time, the stomach and lungs of pregnant women will shrink, so many pregnant women will have poor appetite and no appetite for a long time during pregnancy. At the same time, gastrointestinal pain is also a very common phenomenon during pregnancy, but if it is stomach pain, it is more serious. So if a pregnant woman has stomach pain in the middle of the night, what are the first aid measures?

First, reduce your diet appropriately.

Many expectant mothers eat a lot of high-nutrition food during pregnancy, but at this time the gastrointestinal function is affected by hormones and uterine compression, and the digestive capacity is limited. Once the gastrointestinal burden is too heavy, it will cause stomach pain. Therefore, pregnant women should not eat too much, especially foods with high sugar content, but they can drink more light foods such as soup and porridge.

Second, massage the acupoints.

Rub Nei Guan: Nei Guan is located about the width of four fingers closed below the transverse wrist line, between the two tendons. Stay in a fixed position and use your thumb to massage in circles for about 3-6 times, alternating between both hands. If you are experiencing stomach pain, you can increase the number of times. Press Zusanli: Zusanli is located about four fingers' width below the knee, at the position of the tibia and fibula. Press with the top of your thumb 3-6 times. If stomach pain occurs, you can increase the number of times and the force can be increased appropriately.

Third prevention.

Eat at regular times, at regular places, and in regular amounts. You can also eat more than one meal a day. The best time for eating is between half an hour and one hour. Don't eat too fast, maintain a good mood, eat three meals on time, and enjoy a good dining environment. Pregnant women should not be fond of spicy and sour foods, but should eat more fruits and vegetables to supplement vitamins, which is beneficial to protect the gastric mucosa, enhance its defense ability, and help repair local lesions. Try to sit upright when eating, and don't hunch your back to prevent stomach acid from rising up. Don't lie down within half an hour after a meal. You can also do some exercises in your daily life: stand with your feet apart, put your hands on your knees, lean your body slightly, and start breathing. First take a deep breath, then exhale slowly, and slowly relax your abdominal muscles until all the air is out, then relax your muscles. Hold for 5-20 seconds and repeat 4-7 times to relieve constipation.
