Will cervical erosion heal itself after giving birth?

Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease in women. There are many causes of cervical erosion, such as infection caused by artificial abortion, excessive cleaning, unclean sexual life, etc. Cervical erosion is a disease that many women of childbearing age suffer from and cannot heal themselves after delivery. Cervical erosion is generally divided into three stages. Mild erosion can be completely cured through embolization treatment, but it cannot heal itself easily if not treated in time.

There are many cases showing that childbirth can also cause cervical erosion. Many women found symptoms of cervical erosion during physical examinations after giving birth, which made them miserable. What's worse, some did not pay attention to cervical erosion, which gradually turned into cervical cancer over time. Not only were they physically and mentally tortured, but their work and life also suffered a great blow.

First of all, it should be clear that non-physiological cervical erosion cannot heal itself. It is recommended to clean it with light salt water to keep it clean. Pay attention to hygiene, change underwear frequently and wash frequently; eat healthily, eat less fried foods, various fast foods, instant noodles, etc., and eat less chili peppers. Pay attention to eating more healthy foods in daily life; do not use potassium permanganate sitz baths or alkaline soap to wash the vulva and vagina for a long time; potassium permanganate will damage the skin and mucous membranes, reduce local resistance, and make it easy to get infected. Do not wear underwear that is too small, too tight, or tight pants. Pay attention to hygiene after menstruation and after childbirth.

In addition to daily precautions, cervical erosion can also be treated in the following two ways:

1. Drug flushing method: Drugs are the most common method for treating cervical erosion and it is also the simplest treatment method. However, you must be vigilant that cervical erosion is also prone to recurrence. In fact, drug treatment of cervical erosion is mainly for patients with relatively mild disease. It generally does not have a complete cure for severe and moderate cervical erosion.

2. Cryotherapy: Cryotherapy is one of the common methods for cervical erosion. This treatment technology is relatively simple, but it should be noted that patients with cervical erosion must pay attention to identifying their own source of infection, otherwise, cervical erosion is likely to recur again. In addition, it is best not to have sexual intercourse during the illness to avoid cross infection.
