What are healthy breasts?

Normal people have breasts, regardless of gender, but they are called differently and look different. Breasts can be divided into healthy breasts and unhealthy breasts. Unhealthy breasts include breast hypoplasia and breast diseases, etc. However, many people don’t know what healthy breasts look like. They always think that theirs are healthy. So what are healthy breasts?

Breasts are important organs for female mammals to bear offspring. The human breast structure is divided into internal and external parts. It is mainly composed of mammary gland and other muscle tissues. For human females, how to maintain breasts is the primary issue. For example, preventing various breast diseases and timely examinations are important links. Breasts also have aesthetic significance, with body art created based on the health of the organ. The main components of breasts are fat and mammary glands. Female breasts are only secondary sexual characteristics, not reproductive organs.

The breast is located in the upper abdomen of the torso of mammals, and in most cases it refers specifically to the breasts of human females. For most mammals, breasts are organs that female mammals use to feed their young; for humans, developed breasts are one of the secondary sexual characteristics of females. Male mammals (including human males) have breast tissue such as mammary glands during infancy, but it does not develop during the growth process of infancy.

Position: Normal breasts are located on both sides of the chest. In adult women, due to the development and enlargement of glands, the breasts are hemispherical or slightly drooping semi-conical, protruding on the left and right sides of the chest, between the 2nd to 3rd ribs and the 6th to 7th ribs.

Appearance: Whether the appearance of the breast is normal must be observed from different angles. The normal shape and size of the breasts are generally symmetrical. Asymmetrical shapes of the breasts, or one breast is higher than the other, or one breast is larger than the other, or one breast is raised and the other is flat, or one side has a breast and a nipple while the other side does not, etc., are all abnormal conditions.

Touch: A normal breast will not feel tenderness or any discomfort when touched, and will feel moderate and soft. If you feel a lump when you touch your breast, and it is tender and moves, it is probably breast hyperplasia or a tumor, which is abnormal and you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.
