How to tighten your belly after giving birth

Pregnancy is the happiest event in every mother's life. The baby represents new hope and brings great joy to the mother and the family. Although the mother has a hard time during pregnancy, she feels it is all worth it when she sees the baby being born healthy. Although it is very hard to take care of a baby after giving birth, the mother is willing to do it. The biggest problem for mothers is that they cannot regain their figure quickly after giving birth. So how to tighten your belly after giving birth?

Try to breastfeed and wear a belly band after giving birth. After the baby is born, there will be obvious uterine contractions after delivery, especially when the baby cries and feeds breast milk. Therefore, breast milk after childbirth can accelerate the recovery of the uterus, and wearing a belly belt can prevent the uterus and internal organs from sagging.

In terms of diet, try to eat less high-calorie, high-fat foods, such as greasy foods, barbecue, fatty meat, animal offal, cream desserts, etc., and eat more vegetables, ribs, beef, mutton, seafood, eggs, etc. to reduce fat accumulation.

During maternity leave, try to take care of your baby as much as possible, especially if the baby cries frequently. Hold him/her in your arms and walk around the room often, which will help burn belly fat. Many mothers may find this difficult, but from my personal experience of reducing belly fat. The harder the work, the more it will help new mothers regain their figure after giving birth.

The rectus abdominis muscle appears and needs to be adjusted through exercise in advance. Why does the belly not go down after giving birth? Rectus abdominis separation is very common among postpartum mothers, but it is often ignored. This type of mother can make adjustments through the following simple movements: ① Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the bed. ② Inhale and inflate your abdomen. ③ Exhale and lift your coccyx toward your navel without leaving your hips off the ground. ④ When you reach the highest point, tighten your hip muscles, then relax and repeat 8-10 times.

For short distance travel, switch to bicycle as your means of transportation. Riding a bicycle seems simple, but in fact, when you pedal, the muscles in your whole body will exercise and fat will begin to burn faster. It is very effective in restoring your body after childbirth.

Starting from the second or third week after delivery, you can use some mild massage oil, such as almond oil, olive oil, etc., to massage your abdomen. Gently massage in circular motions from bottom to top for about 15 minutes until you feel a slight warmth. It can accelerate blood circulation in the abdomen, tighten the skin, and help improve abdominal sagging and stretch marks. Or when taking a bath, you can also apply bath salt on your abdomen, massage it for 10 minutes, and then take a shower. Coarse salt has a sweating effect. It can excrete waste and excess water from the body, promote skin metabolism, soften dirt, and make the skin delicate and tight.

Mothers who have the conditions can also perform abdominal liposuction to help their belly recover after childbirth. Usually, three months after abdominal liposuction surgery, the skin will regain its elasticity, the abdomen will be flat, and the good figure before childbirth will be restored.
