Why does toothache during pregnancy

Why does toothache during pregnancy

Toothache is a common disease. It may not seem like a big problem, but it is unbearable. During pregnancy, women will experience many discomfort symptoms due to the effects of hormones in their bodies. If you have toothache during pregnancy, it is very distressing. Pregnant women should not take medicine indiscriminately, as it will affect the growth and development of the fetus. So why do you have toothache during pregnancy?

Why do you get toothache during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, women's chorionic villus levels increase rapidly, especially in the first three months before pregnancy. Their gums will swell and their skin will become thinner due to the influence of hormones, making them prone to symptoms such as bleeding and inflammation of the gums. Expectant mothers with wisdom teeth are particularly prone to toothache, but tooth extraction is not suitable during pregnancy. Especially in the first three months and last three months of pregnancy, tooth extraction can easily cause uterine contractions, leading to miscarriage and premature birth. Therefore, it is best to have an oral examination before pregnancy to prevent future problems.

It has to be said that toothache is really distressing. It can make us lose our appetite and unable to sleep, especially for pregnant women. Pregnant mothers should pay attention to oral hygiene and protect their teeth. Also, pregnant mothers should eat more warm food, drink more water, adjust their mentality, and not have negative emotions or depression.

What to do if you have toothache during pregnancy

First, take garlic, mash it, and apply it to the painful area after warming it to treat symptoms such as pulpitis, periodontitis and toothache.

Second, dissolve MSG in warm water at a concentration of 1:50, hold the solution in your mouth for a while and then spit it out. Do this several times in a row, and after two days the toothache will be cured.

Third, when you have a toothache, you can cut a small piece of ginger and bite it on the painful area. You can reuse it when necessary, and it is also okay to hold it in your mouth when you sleep. This is a very safe and reliable recipe.

Fourth, put 100 grams of ordinary white wine into a teacup and add 10 grams of salt; stir, and after the salt is dissolved, put it on the stove and boil it. Hold a mouthful of it at the painful area, be careful not to swallow it, and the toothache will stop immediately.

Fifth, rinse your mouth: take a mouthful of water (the temperature is close to body temperature) and rinse your mouth vigorously.

Sixth, massage your hands: This method can relieve 50% of the pain. Rub a piece of ice on the "V" area between the thumb and index finger bones, and gently press the ice on this area for 5-7 minutes. A Canadian researcher found that 60-90% of people who used this method experienced relief from toothache. His research showed that this friction method can interfere with the transmission of toothache nerve impulses.
