What is the remedy for headache caused by washing hair during confinement?

Even during the confinement period, women still care about beauty. After all, they don’t want others to see them looking sloppy. Therefore, during the confinement period, in order to make themselves more beautiful, many women still wash their hair every day as usual. However, due to the special physical characteristics of the postpartum period, if you do not blow dry your hair in time after washing it, you will have a headache if it is exposed to the wind. So how should you remedy this?

You should not wash your hair if you have a headache. If the weather is good for 20 days, you can wash your hair. You need to boil water, don't use cold water. Wait until the water is naturally cool enough to wash your hair. Then blow it dry immediately after washing.

The older generation has repeatedly warned pregnant women not to take a bath after giving birth. If they really want to clean their bodies, they should wash their bodies with ginger peel water one week after giving birth. As for washing their hair, the elderly believe it is impossible and they absolutely should not wash their hair during the 30 days of confinement. Almost every elderly person said so, and they also threatened that if you don't listen to the elderly and wash your hair and take a bath during the confinement period, you will "absorb" wind, which will enter your brain and you will have headaches for the rest of your life. If the wind enters your bones, you will have bone pain all over your body when you are old and there is no cure.

How to wash your hair correctly during confinement

1. New mothers should pay attention to the appropriateness of the water temperature when washing their hair. The water temperature should not be too high or too low. Because water temperature that is too high will irritate the scalp and make it more oily, but water temperature that is too low will stimulate the contraction of blood vessels in the scalp, causing cold air to invade the body. Therefore, it is most appropriate to keep the water temperature at around 37 degrees when washing your hair. You can use your elbow to judge whether the water temperature is appropriate.

2. After preparing the water, start washing your hair. You should do so in a room with a constant room temperature. When washing your hair, gently massage your scalp with your hands to soothe the meridians and relax your body and mind.

3. When your hair is oily, you need to take extra care of it. After giving birth, a woman’s hair usually becomes more oily. At this time, remember to use a mild shampoo or conditioner to care for it, otherwise it will cause severe hair loss. During breastfeeding, you should not use hair dye or perm because it will harm your baby.

4. After washing your hair, wipe it immediately with a towel, then wrap it with a towel, and finally use a hair dryer to blow your hair until it is almost dry, and then wrap your hair with a dry towel to avoid catching a cold from the wind or excessive heat evaporation from the scalp. Do not blow your hair excessively with a hair dryer to avoid damaging your scalp and hair.

5. After washing your hair, comb it straight. You cannot go to bed immediately. The surface of your hair is dry, but the water in the inner layer of your hair will seep out after a while. Going to bed immediately will make your scalp cold and cause headaches and neck pains.

6. When combing your hair, it is best to use a wooden comb to avoid static electricity on the hair that irritates the scalp.
