Breast discharge in late pregnancy

Breast discharge in late pregnancy

Women need to take care of their physical health after they become pregnant. They must eat more nutritious foods and get enough rest. If you are not careful in the late pregnancy, the baby may be born prematurely, so pregnant women should not neglect this stage. However, some expectant mothers find that they have water discharge in their breasts when they are eight months pregnant. They don’t know what the reason is?

What causes breast water discharge in late pregnancy?

In the eighth month of pregnancy, the change of female hormones is to prepare for the secretion of milk from the breast tissue. When massaging the breasts, the nipples are stimulated, and the peripheral nerves in the nipples will also transmit information to the brain, which can produce oxytocin, which will also make the breasts secrete milk. Therefore, there may be a transparent liquid, which is a normal phenomenon. If you find that your breasts are watery in the late pregnancy, it proves that the mammary glands are unobstructed, so you must let the baby suck as soon as possible after giving birth, so as to increase the secretion of milk.

Basic knowledge of breast care in late pregnancy.

In the late pregnancy, women should clean their breasts with cold water every day. The temperature should not be too high, and of course not too low. It must be able to soften the nipples. Then wipe gently with a cotton towel to remove the secretions on the nipples. It is also necessary to massage the breasts in the middle and late stages. It is actually very necessary. We'd better hold the whole breasts up and pull them up to tighten them. This will make it much easier. In addition, in the late pregnancy, women are best to choose cotton underwear, which can allow the cells on the breasts to breathe freely and will not suffocate the breasts.

In the eighth month of pregnancy, the breasts can indeed stimulate the body to produce oxytocin, which will lead to the secretion of milk. This is a normal physiological phenomenon, so we don’t need to worry too much. In the late pregnancy, we must first do a good job of breast care, clean it regularly, and maintain the health of the breasts, so that we can make adequate preparations for breastfeeding after delivery.
