Patients with symptoms should receive prompt treatment. When treating bacterial vaginosis, one should first understand the cause of the dysbacteriosis. Clinical speculation is that it may be related to frequent sexual life, multiple sexual partners, unclean sexual life, vaginal douching, and inappropriate use of intravaginal medications.
