Introduction to dietary conditioning after cesarean section

Conceiving a baby is what every woman hopes to do. Many expectant mothers will choose cesarean section when choosing the method of delivery. Some people think that mothers who have cesarean section do not have to be as cautious about diet as mothers who give birth naturally. However, the mother’s vitality will be greatly damaged after the cesarean section. Therefore, after the cesarean section, mothers still need to pay attention to adjusting their diet.

In the first few days after delivery, the mother's gastrointestinal function has not yet returned to normal. The food should not be too greasy, but light, easy to digest and nutritious food. Within 24 hours after delivery, you should eat liquid or semi-liquid food, such as millet porridge, rice porridge, lotus root powder, egg soup, noodles, thin noodles, dumplings, soy milk, etc.

As your strength recovers and your appetite increases, you can eat a normal diet. To achieve adequate calories, you should consume foods high in protein. If conditions permit, you can eat more meat, eggs, fish, milk, soy products, fresh vegetables and fruits to promote the secretion of milk. If conditions do not allow you to eat these foods, you should also eat eggs, soy products, green vegetables, etc. regularly. In short, you need to have proper nutrition and eat a variety of foods after giving birth. The diet should be a combination of meat and vegetables, dry and liquid food, coarse and fine grains, to meet the body's needs for various nutrients. This is very beneficial to the health of the mother and the growth and development of the child.

Every mother who has given birth has endured great pain to complete the pregnancy process, so she still needs to pay more attention to her life after childbirth, especially in terms of diet. Not only does she need to consume high-quality nutrition, but she also needs to ensure a balanced nutrition. This will be of great benefit to both the mother and the baby.
