How long does pregnancy breast pain last?

Creating a little life is a very difficult process, especially in the early stages of pregnancy when there are a series of early pregnancy reactions. The most obvious symptoms are amenorrhea, nausea and retching, but many female friends also experience other early pregnancy reactions, such as severe chest pain, which lasts for a long time. So, how long will breast swelling last during pregnancy?

How long will breast swelling last during pregnancy?

1. Personal physical fitness

During pregnancy, the growth and development of the breasts actually changes with the growth and development of the fetus, mainly to meet the needs of breastfeeding after delivery. Generally, women experience severe breast pain from the fourth to sixth week of pregnancy. Many women often notice that their periods are delayed because of this symptom. In the early stages of pregnancy, the duration of chest pain is actually not very long. Of course, this is directly related to the woman's physical condition.

2. Female hormones

Breast pain during pregnancy is caused by changes in female hormones. From the moment the sperm and egg combine with the uterus, the endocrine system of the woman's body begins to change. Among them, one of the most obvious signs is breast sensitivity and pain. It is caused by the increase of female hormones in the pregnant woman's body. This feeling of distension and pain is very similar to what women feel before their period, but it is more obvious.

The condition of chest pain will be significantly improved after 3 months of pregnancy, because at the beginning of the second trimester, the pregnant woman's body has already adapted to the changes in male hormones during pregnancy.

3. Reduce chest swelling

For breast swelling and pain during pregnancy, pregnant women can use breast care methods such as hot compress and massage to relieve it. It should be noted that the breasts are very sensitive during this period, and pregnant women should be gentle during the treatment process to avoid damaging the nipples.

How long does pregnancy bloating last?

1. Abdominal distension

The condition of abdominal distension is more serious in expectant mothers. The acid excretion function in the stomach of pregnant women becomes weaker, and the composition of gastric juice will be higher; and from the ovulation period to pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body will secrete a large amount of luteinizing hormone, and the intestinal peristalsis strength of the stomach is poor, which affects the excretion of waste, so pregnant women will experience abdominal distension, constipation and other conditions.

2. Duration

In the second half of pregnancy, the woman's uterus will enlarge and will be pressed on the stomach and intestines, affecting the normal peristalsis of the stomach and intestines. If the pregnant woman already suffers from gastrointestinal diseases such as constipation and poor intestinal motility, the discomfort of abdominal distension will probably continue until the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy. If the diet is not properly matched, it will also cause abdominal distension. Pregnant women are more likely to experience abdominal distension after eating foods that are particularly easy to cause flatulence (soybeans, tapioca starch, etc.) or drinking healthy drinks (soft drinks such as Coca-Cola).

Before the 34th week of pregnancy (the stage when the uterus is enlarged), if the pregnant woman eats too much or eats too greasy food, she will experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. However, from the 34th to 36th week of pregnancy, the fetal body will decrease and pregnant women will feel relieved.
