Is it normal to have bloodshot eyes during early pregnancy?

Some women will find blood in their leucorrhea when they just become pregnant. I believe many women are very scared of this situation. In fact, the presence of blood in the leucorrhea in the early stages of pregnancy indicates that there is blood in the female reproductive organs. This situation may be due to physiological factors or may be caused by certain diseases. Therefore, if we want to solve this situation, we need to know what exactly causes it, which will be beneficial to our treatment.

Reasons for bloody vaginal discharge during early pregnancy :

1. Physiological reasons for bloody leucorrhea in early pregnancy :

This is usually caused by implantation bleeding. When the fertilized egg implants, the placenta fails to synthesize enough estrogen and progesterone, and the ovaries continue to function. The endometrium (decidua pericyta) attached to the placenta and covering the surface of the blastocyst is not completely fused with the true decidua on the surface of the uterine cavity that is not in direct contact with the blastocyst, resulting in a gap. Therefore, the endometrium can still fall off and bleeding may occur. The amount of bleeding during implantation of the fertilized egg is very small, usually manifested as blood streaks or blood spots in the leucorrhea. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. If the pregnant woman has no obvious discomfort and the amount of bleeding is not much, there is no need to worry too much.

2. Pathological reasons for bloody leucorrhea in early pregnancy :

If a pregnant woman has had excessive and unclean sexual life, does not pay attention to menstrual protection, has too many births, too frequent miscarriages, does not receive timely treatment after infection, or has cervical injury during delivery or miscarriage, these factors can all cause cervicitis, which will lead to damage to the reproductive system and bleeding, resulting in blood in the leucorrhea. Pregnant women with these conditions are advised to undergo timely examination and treatment to avoid affecting the fetus.

3. Fatigue

If a pregnant woman is overworked or under great work pressure, blood may appear in her vaginal discharge. In this case, it is recommended that women pay attention and relax appropriately.

4. Ectopic pregnancy :

After pregnancy, when the fertilized egg develops to a certain extent, the wall of the fallopian tube will rupture and bleed. This is also one of the reasons why women have bloody vaginal discharge. In this case, women must go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

5. Hydatidiform mole : The presence of blood in the leucorrhea is related to hydatidiform mole. If it is a hydatidiform mole, it will cause women to have miscarriage after 2-3 months of closure, and some women will experience repeated bleeding.
